Been to Billy’s a few times now for breakfast and always delicious. This particular visit there were 6 adults and 2 children and a dog. Food was good again altho my daughter wanted just avacado on toast but got the chilli version which was too...hot. I feel that there are too many tables , making it very crampt and noisy Trying to pay at door was also chaotic due to lots people trying to get in at same time. I assume it’s staff shortages as staff there were working very hard. Lastly the toilets .. being outside public ones they really are not nice at all and they need to be renovated, really let’s down a nice place.More

Underwhelming Poor value for money Food average Camembert starter looks like it was from a bag of frozen ones and then sold for an extortionate price.. Customer service average Disappointing

Enjoyed both a lunch and breakfast here. Very warm and friendly welcome on each occasion. Menu is great with specials on offer too. Both meals were delicious. Nothing was too much trouble. Fabulous, thank you!

Well the Telegraph (the best beach cafe in the world!) weren’t wrong… absolutely blown away by the lovely food and friendly service. We were welcomed in to a homely space for lunch as a family of four plus dogs. The seafood sharing platter was fresh,...generous and extremely tasty. We had such a good experience we went back for brunch the next day 😆 Best hash browns I’ve ever had, all the food was great and we had the same laid back but timely service. What a find! Fantastic find. Warm welcome from the team and the log burner. Very accommodating as we fancied something from the kids menu, this wasn't a problem. Located right on seafront and next to public parking. Well worth a visit.

We dropped into Billy's one Monday lunchtime and was warmly welcomed and shown to our table. Service was prompt. Although I felt the menu was limited and surprised they did not offer a lighter option like sandwiches, the food we ordered was very good. The...Cajun chicken burgers were break of chicken and very nice. The ploughman's sharing platter looked fantastic and those who had it said it was very good. Ate breakfast two days running here. The location is great being right by the beach and next to the pay car park. The staff were friendly and efficient , the menu was varied and the food tasted freshly cooked and very very good . We...booked for breakfast for the second day [a Sunday ] and that was definitely a good decision as on both days it was busy. Looked at the menu for lunch and dinner and was equally as varied and had my mouth watering. Wish we lived nearer as we would definitely use this place regularly. Highly recommended. Booking for lunch is essential for this popular seafood cafe/restaurant. The orders were well presented and served by pleasant smiling staff. My son had an entree of deep fried calamari and I had prawns in a glass with two dressings and both served with two...slices of locally baked bread. Our main was crab in a shell, two dressings with a mixed salad and slices of locally baked bread. Absolutely no room for dessert, we were both stuffed to the gills completely sated!!More

We went for lunch on a beautiful sunny autumn weekday and enjoyed fish & chips with good friendly service. All very good and I’m sure we’ll be back.

Really enjoyed our evening meal at Billy’s on the Beach, dogs welcome and staff very nice. Small menu but food freshly cooked and didn’t disappoint.
