we arrived in the last week of November 2016 , it was very quiet , in fact one other table being used ,they left our empty plates on the table for 33 minutes which we thought was just one of those things ,but then they left the desert dishes for 20 minutes we had to ask them to move them... More

Fabulous little place! Visited back in April and absolutely fell in love with this hidden gem!.... we have just booked to go back again soon. Everything was superb, right down to our breakfast which was delivered by the 'fairies'......nice touch! Can't wait to return :-)

We went for a meal here to celebrate our son's birthday and we very much enjoyed the whole experience. The welcome: Warm and friendly from the bar staff and the owners. Ambience: Sophisticated country pub bistro, without being pretentious; the decor is an effective fusion of old and modern. Food: Not cheap, but tasty and plentiful. Drinks: Extensive choice in... My wife and I were thrilled with this venue on the occasion of our wedding reception. From the beginning Lynne husband Tim were painstaking in terms of preparation, helping with table planning & even preparing a taster menu for us to sample the menu for our big day!! Boy, did it pay off, as things couldn't have been better, a... More

We came here to have the Afternoon Tea and chose one sweet and one savory option (less patisseries on the savory one). Everything from the scones to the cake and the savory sausage roll, sandwiches and tart was well balanced when it came to flavour and tasted like it was home made, the tea kept getting filled up (no need... In our 14-day, four city vacation in the UK, this was the best restaurant of the trip. The food was excellent and innovative. With my locally-sourced lamb, came a "shepherd's pie" as a side -- this was "pie a glass" with a potato mouse over a tasty lamb/sauce. My wife's salmon was perfectly prepared. Her appetizer was a very imaginatively... More

Having heard positive comments regarding the food at The Kinmel Arms we decided to dine there to celebrate our wedding anniversary. The restaurant was quiet and we were swiftly attended to and shown to a table. When asked what we would like to drink, a jug of water was requested. At the bar we could her the waitress pass on... We arrived (fortunately we had booked a table!) on Saturday evening to find the place extremely busy, both in the bar and the restaurant. We were greeted immediately and shown to our table. The menu was not vast but every dish sounded so tempting it was difficult to choose and judging by the reactions from everyone at our table you... More

I'm a fairly seasoned afternoon tea sampler now and must say the Kinmel Arms is one of the best I've had. We had 3 of the savoury variety which were well balanced with just the right amount of sweet to finish off. Service was second to none with special dietary requirements not being a problem at all. Looking forward to... More

Excellent food and service. Prices are quite high so the fixed price menu available 6-7pm Tuesday to Thursday is really good value.
