Really nice place with a great atmosphere, very friendly staff and exceptional Nepalese momos! Try the paneer and cheese or the chicken momos and you’ll be hooked! They’re all prepared from scratch and are absolutely delicious. We went back to this place many times! :-)
This year Riverside is even better than before.... There's an extensive, inexpensive and delicous menu from all things indian to crepes and pasta. Service is prompt and there's often live music or Manu's firedance. Though it's not on the beach there's a cool breeze off...the river and an amazing colony of giant fruit bats that flies out from their roost next door each evening.More
Most of the restaurants in Agonda are on the beach but once the sun goes down it is very hard to see anything.Riverside location is in the title and very near the end of the road by the river.It is a lovely setting with pretty...lights and a good atmosphere.It has a Nepalese food section but a lot of other things as well.They put on some good bands on some evenings.Well worth the tuktuk ride if you are ate the other end of the beach.More
This was a great find when we went to Agonda Beach this year. It is right at the top end of the main road so best get a taxi as it’s a long walk. We had dinner in this restaurant and the location is great,...it’s on the river and the restaurant is all outside with a small bar area and make shift kitchen. You can see them cocking the food. We had some lovely wine and cocktails and the food choices were great. We didn’t get the opportunity to order any main courses as we ordered so many starters to pick at we were all full! Everything was delicious but one dish stood out food me, sounds strange but it was a spicy cauliflower, it was wonderful. The staff were friendly and I would definitely give it a try if you are in Agonda. Only negative was the toilets, my wife wasn’t impressed, makeshift ones so just be aware!More
We have eaten here 3 times in less than a week which tells you how great this place is! Much cheaper than the beach, great food, service and location. The chef (deepak) from Nepal cooks the eat curry I have ever eaten. Absolutely recommend this...place for food and the best cocktails!More
Delicious veg and nonveg Food, relaxed atmosphere and friendly motivated staff. In one week we enjoyed 2x live music. My favorit food cauliflower chilli-honey.

Food is excellent and many good dishes, including the tandoori are made by the famous cook Rakesh (have been cooking the best food in Agonda for years!) Excellent service by all "the guys"! The Nepali team here will drag you in and let you feel...like their family/best friends from the first moment. Riverside often has live bands and fire shows by Manu, one of the Nepali guys here. Te setting at the end of north Agonda is also nice with a little built scene over the river. GREAT so don't miss this one!!More
