The owner and his wife have offered us a memorable diner, a true Barolo story. The food is prepared with passion and a high attention for detail. The light, homemade tiramisu is an example of this. Combined with the wide variety of wines, this is truely a location we would recommend to anyone visiting this area and looking for a low-key location with high quality products at an affordable price.
Side note: while most locations are preparing for/ are in the harvest season, the owner managed to arrange a tour at one of the nearby vinyards.

My husband stopped for lunch here one sunny October afternoon and we were so glad we did. The owners could not do enough for us and went out of their way to make us feel incredibly welcome. The food uses locally sourced ingredients and is fresh and delicious. We sat outside and it was just gorgeous. La Cantina is a real gem worth visiting if you’re in the region and the owner and his wife are very warm and friendly. 10/10.

We were a family group of six adults and four children. We had pre booked the fixed menu for all the adults, and the children ordered several courses from the menu. The food was exceptional, both in taste and presentation, and the staff was super friendly. The host guided us through an excellent wine list and willingly shared his knowledge of the region. Unforgettable!

I had read many rave reviews of this restaurant and was a little concerned about being disappointed. I had nothing to fear. My husband and another couple and I all agreed that all of the food that we were served was absolutely top-notch. We sat out on their pleasant patio and spent a very enjoyable afternoon eating, drinking and chatting with the staff and owners. I highly recommend this restaurant.

A very friendly welcome, high-quality cuisine: everything is homemade, even fresh truffle ravioli and with an incredible face, low-temperature cooked beef is simply divine. Even the desserts are sublime, the pie tatin rivalry without problem with Contichini (starred French pastry chef).
Anyway! This is really one of the best restaurants we have made for a very affordable price. Obviously we can find better starred restaurants but with a much saltier addition.

We were lucky to get a reservation very close to our date having forgotten that Sunday is the day that families have lunch out together. (Just a reminder) We were surrounded by families doing just that - enjoying the lovely afternoon, being together and eating delicious food and drinking great wine. This was heaven for me - no tourist trap- just a piece of Italian culture we got to witness. FIne homemade everything. Best veal tonnato I ate on our trip (and I tried a lot!). The owner made us feel welcome as if we ate there every Sunday. One of my favorite meals ever!

Great, but not exactly a “cheap eat” as review category suggests. Perhaps because we had 4 courses each and a bottle of wine, the cost racked up. Having said that, the food and wine was excellent and we weren’t left wanting any more. The restaurant is categorised £ but I would say it’s at least ££ but otherwise I would highly recommend

They probably don't need yet another 5 star review but I can't resist. Eating here was an epiphany for us. Not only the best place tried in the Langhe, but the best place tried in recent years. Succulent and delicious cuisine, Langhe but interesting, with that pinch of innovation and aesthetic taste that makes it less memorable. Special mentions to the soft egg and the pork cooked at low temperature with pakchoi and apple sauce. Excellent wines also by the glass. What can we say about the relaxed but extremely professional atmosphere with which they welcomed us (right from the phone call to ask if there was room), advised us and accompanied us throughout the lunch? Excellent value for money.
Well done, well done, well done guys! We will definitely visit you again.

This splendid country restaurant is located a few steps from my house and every time I return I find absolute confirmation of the total of this place. It has recently been updated internally and is now even more typical and welcoming than before, very similar to a typical Langa trattoria but accompanied by a truly professional welcome and service. The owners as well as all the dining room staff are always very kind and smiling, always willing to welcome you warmly, as if you were at home, and to give you all possible attention. I now understand very well why the place in question is among the favorites of the many attentive tourists who visit our areas. These are the first characteristics you encounter as soon as you sit at the table; immediately afterwards you reach the renowned kitchen where all the dishes served are rigorously prepared at home, based on typical local recipes and composed of raw materials of unsurpassed quality. Each dish is prepared and arranged with care and attention and is a true delight both for the eyes but above all for the palate; the same goes for the exquisite desserts, all fantastic and rich in flavor in their extreme delicacy and delicacy. The wine list is then based on the best wines of the area, both red and white but also on many others; the best in the national territory and all offered at absolutely correct and reasonable prices. Following the reviews and the positioning (first) we decided to give this place a chance and it was like a poem that enters the reader's heart. Full room, impeccable service (despite the fact that they had warned us that as there were so many customers there was the possibility that the waiting time would be longer) and despite this the dishes of the very young chef (22 years old I think) arrived in the right time. Very kind, cute and well-prepared girls in the dining room, you can see the love that is transmitted from the kitchen to the dining room and vice versa. The manager is always present and attentive, an excellent advisor on wines. The dishes are all tasty and refined down to the smallest detail, traditional but with a twist of innovation that conveys to the customer all the commitment behind it. We would have liked to eat all the fabulous dishes, but we only had to look around to understand the general satisfaction of the diners.

Dinner on the terrace regaled us as much in the plate as in the atmosphere.
The “Piedmontese trio” served as a starter included beef tartare, vitello tonnato and stuffed peppers. Everything was excellent.
The stuffed ravioli served as a primi piatti have delighted my friends’ taste buds and are among the top 3 of all the ravioli they have had the opportunity to taste to date.
Pasta with grilled tomato and straciatella was also very good.

What a find ! In a small village. The owners are welcoming and the decor is beautiful. There is a relaxed feeling in the restaurant and a terrace outside. The food was devine presented in a high end manner and beautifully paired with a local wine selected by the owner. We had a light lunch and then decided to return the following evening so we could sample further locally inspired dishes.
We will be back next year and even maybe for the truffle season!

In search of refreshment from the summer heat we decided to take a tour of the Langhe and booked here for lunch attracted by the menu and the great reviews. Despite the high temperature at lunch even here, expectations were abundantly met: excellent dishes (both in flavor and presentation), excellent wines (a bubble whose name I can not remember and a very good Roero Arneis) and impeccable service, attentive and very courteous. The host very nice and helpful. We will definitely come back when it is cooler or maybe for dinner.

splendid landscape and there could only be this place passing through the vineyards. We were surprised to realize that we had already been there years ago and this made us very happy given the very positive experience we had had. I confirm it: excellent cuisine, dishes with taste and well prepared and the tradition can be savored. As a couple we had 2 tartare with purple potato chips, 2 ravioli with guinea fowl filling, its stock and black truffle. An excellent bottle of Barolo from a local winery. Very kind manager: he also advised us where we could do tastings in the area.
Excellent welcome.
Home cooking with a gourmet touch. Excellent plating and research into the quality and sophistication of the dishes.
Eating outside on nice days is perfect, not so much for the view, but for the fact of feeling a bit like being on the porch of your own home. An excellent tavern.
