Joined a few friends here for a drink while the rugby was on and had a great time. Plenty of space 2 big TV screens and a restaurant rout the back. Cheap beer and plenty of it so we're all happy AND Wales won agains South Africa! Love the place.

Lovely old pub, very friendly staff, close to the local market. Had the steak and ale pie with a local bitter -both excellent. Wife had the vegetable pasta bake which was delicious, good texture and loads of flavour

Visited with a group fo friends for my birthday. Warm welcome as always. The food was wonderful the beef which I had melted in my mouth. We were all very pleased with the size of the portions. We were so full after starters and main that we didn't have room for desert.
