We visited the cafe several times during our 4 days in chachapoyus but we're left disappointed. Service was pretty poor and we were left waiting for food or a drink on more than one occasion. WiFi didn't work most of the time.

Great place to relax after a long hike to Gocta Waterfall or the teleférico to Kuelap. The interior is decorated with fare from local artisans. This along with the coffee from Rodrigo Mendoza show that they care about helping out the local community. The food...More

This cafe is right in the centre of town, on the plaza de armas and so easy to get to. I had a dinner and a breakfast here and both were delicious and served quickly, for a good price. The wifi worked well. The menu...More

We had breakfast here upon arriving in Chachapoyas. Coffee was very good. It's a nice café to spend some time and relax, with a huge book exchange. It's rather expensive though compared to other options in town.

It's has books of several languages! Ideal for reading while drinking a coffee or drink. Food is acceptable. Well located in front of the main square. The staff is a bit slow and inattentive.

The place is very nice and well decorated. Nice for a coffe and meeting people. But about the food, I was disappointed with my pasta serve with fried vegetable.

I had a nice dinner. The service is good and so is the food. They offer craft beers, that are pretty hard to find elsewhere. . The dessert I had was excellent and the friend traveling with me raved about their coffee.

Run by a couple with a new infant, she is from US, he is Peruvian. Great place to hang out, have an espresso(rare for Peru) and good basic dinner...also small shop with fair trade prices.

Delicious Menús which include an actual salad! you'll be hard pressed to find anything more than lettuce in other Menús. The location also showcases local hand made crafts from around Amazonas Region. Good food and good community ethics, can't beat that combo.

Welcome to Café Fusiones!... a place that initially emerged as an idea in November 2008, we wanted to create a space in which people enjoy and encounter the flavour, aroma, beauty and quality of the organic products which are offered in our region – Amazonas. In April 2009, we opened our doors in order to offer you an extensive menu with a fusion of flavours based on regional organic products, following the principles of ‘slow food’ (as opposed to fast food), guaranteeing good, fair food, with tasty ingredients, produced without damaging the environment, wildlife or our own health; and always ensuring a fair and just price is paid to the producers. For this reason, we work directly with community organizations and private businesses, such as the Cooperativa Agraria Rodríguez de Mendoza with their flagship product Bio Café, the Asociación de Productores Santa Rosa who provide us with our organic natural sugar, La Chetina, with its milk based products and jams made from local fruits, the Asociación de Mujeres Artesanas de Leymebamba, with their artisan textiles and Artesanía Huamán, with their work in wood. We sell all of their products in our Fair Trade shop. In café Fusiones we support and promote fair trade and in addition to buying our region´s organic food products we also take account of the fine work of local carpenters, potters, weaver and other artisans, because we trust and value their work and we are proud to show the art that they have created with their hands.
