This restaurant has just had a total makeover. Along with the fish, and seafood menu, they have THE best hamburger in town. Really. So not just for fish.

Halibut Time is THE place to go in Port Perry for Fish and Chips! The batter is homemade recipe and is excellent. The fish is light and flaky and cooked to perfection. There is also a fantastic Breakfast until 2 pm. I love going for the scallops too. Residents of Port Perry can be found at Halibut Time because they... More

We have been enjoying the halibut here since I first had a behind the scenes tour with my students who observed a huge halibut being cut up for serving in the restaurant. It was nice to know that the halibut is cut here and dipped in delicious batter which is always light and crisp. We eat here at least once... More

The one time we were there, the fish was encased in a hard batter crust and the fish seemed to have swam through it all. Not much fish. They were busy (so that's good for them), but it was slow and seemed a bit disorganized. I think they might have been short of staff, there was some sort of drama... More

Classic fish and chips, great value, quick service. Located in downtown close to the park, take out is always an option. It's impossible to leave hungry

For a small town with at least 3 fish and chips restaurants that I am aware of, I am surprised this place is still in business. My friend and I had lunch at Halibut Time yesterday. We both ordered the halibut and chips with coleslaw. The piece of fish was not a bad size for lunch but both our meals... More

Me and a co worker always stop for food early in our shift as we travel a lot. Seen this place and decided to stop as we love fish and chips, big mistake. Extremely greasy to the point that's all you taste and it stays with you after. You feel sick by the time your done. My co worker puked... More
