Nice newly renovated, same great fish and chips with more fish than batter. Been a favourite of ours for 20 plus years.

Recently had lunch with parents and sister. Halibut pieces were small, batter not crispy and fries bland and limp. Usually go to Captain George's in Bowmanville. They know how to do halibut and chips properly! Change I décor vast improvement but doesn't make up for poor food.

I don't often patronise chains, it's a philosophical thing; I prefer to put all my money into the local economy. But my wife needed a salad for dietary reasons, this place grabbed her eye, and we went in. Captain George's is one of the few chain restaurants for which I will break my habit, I have eaten in several and... More

Best fish and chips, I've ever had. The fish is always fresh, and the batter is crispy and thin. Chips are just ok. They have been closed for renovations for about a month, but are now back open. Looking forward to checking out the renos, and some more delicious fish and chips!!

The halibut fish and chips dinner has always been consistently good. We don't live in Port Perry, but travel here when we feel like fish and chips. This location is much better than other Captain George locations.

If you like fish and chips this is the place to go in Port Perry. The eating area is small but the take -out is pretty quick.

The service is always great. The food is ok but we have started visiting other Fish & Chip shops as these guys have priced us out as a customer. Port Perry has many other choices who serve better food at a better price.

When we are on our annual vacation to Canada we always stop of here at this fishery. They are always very busy with a line up and you can't make reservations so go early.
