A friend and myself went to this establishment because we were in the area to visit her family. The service was horrible, they were rude, seemed like we were a burden on their day. I will never set foot in this establishment again nor would I recommend it.

Where do I start? This place has some great waitresses! (Victoria 10/10) I could definitely talk to her for hours. As for the food, I had the clubhouse sandwich. Juicy roasted turkey on white bread. It was to die for. I also had a milkshake. It was honestly one of the best milkshakes I have ever had in my life.... More

Knowles was the 1st. restaurant I ever visited in the 60's when our family moved to Dunnville. It was great, and I will always remember the Juke boxes on the wall.:) The owners were kind of enough to give us from the reunion a complimentary coffee with our breakfast. Thank you:) Breakfast was great also the service. Knowles is a... More

Great breakfasts, filling portions, homey atmosphere. Variety of lunch choices as well and of course make room for homemade desserts or enjoy a real milkshake with your meal.

This place is a dying breed. When we were out on our bikes the previous day and I saw the sing on the back of the building "Breakfast All Day". I thought--"I know where I am going for breakfast Sunday morning". The building is on the main drag in down town Dunnville. The interior still has the stools at the... More

I have been coming to Knowles for quite some time. And although very "dated" inside and out, it does offer charm, good food at reasonable prices and ol' fashioned good service. It's not a table-cloth style of a restaurant but offers all anyone could ask for this long standing favourite.

I could have been In a coma for 40 years and come here and thought it was still 40 years ago. The only thing that's changed is the prices. Its still a pretty reasonable place to eat with pretty good food. It could use a bit of sprucing up though.

I first visited this little coiffed and sandwich shop over 40 years ago with my brother and father. It is as charming and homey today as it was then. The upcoming Steven King film 11-22-63 was partly filmed here as the 0lot involves time travel and they could not have selected a better venue as the restaurant Amberson eats in... More
