My husband and I love Mexican food. And since we have been eating a lot of Puerto Rican meals lately, we decided to go to Pika-Pika for a Mexican meal. The ambience is great with solid wooden tables and chairs and lively Mexican tile work for decor. Our waitress was helpful and attentive. We ordered the Pika-Pika skirt steak special and shrimp fajitas. Chips and a lovely pico de gallo were provided as a courtesy appetizer; the pico de gallo was fresh and excellent. The food arrived quickly with great presentation and generous proportions. Carlos, the owner, personally came by to ask if our meal was satisfactory. We topped the good dinners off with an amazing Tres Leches for dessert. And as a surprising and charming service, I was escorted out with an umbrella to shield me from the rain and the same young man guided our car as we backed out of the restaurant parking lot. We felt welcomed and pampered! Thank you to Carlos and his excellent staff!

It was a late Saturday night and we were in the area, as this restaurant was recommended and within walking distance we decided to drop by. We were meant to wait half an hour and waited an hour due to a backed up kitchen, nevertheless we were hungry and waited.
That said... We were given chips and pico de gallo first and it was fresh, none of that canned stuff, and we also asked for their signature hot sauce which was great, had a lot of texture, flavor and spicyness(A real hot sauce, not that Tabasco spiked with something that we usually are served). We also had stuffed jalapeño peppers with cream cheese which were very tasty. For main course we had fish tacos which were 3 soft shell tacos with a nice portion of fish and something called "El Chompiras" with Carnitas and I was not prepared for the sheer size of the platter. For dessert we had a fried cheesecake that was both tasty and huge in comparison with what I am used to order.
Worth nothing, all of the plates were hot when they got to the table, so they made everything to order. (Which explains the long wait to be seated)
I am pleased and will have this restaurant in mind next time I am in town.

We ate at Pika Pika on April 12, 2021 in the evening on our way from the Cabo Rojo lighthouse back to our hotel in Boquerón. We ordered a PR beer ($3.25), passion fruit margarita ($7, small for the price), Chompiras Pollo (chicken quesadilla $15), and Pechuga Rellens (stuffed pork $18), and stuffed fried cheesecake ($8). All was good. With 2 bottles of water total was $59. The staff was attentive.

Service was ok. The chips were good, guacamole and refried beens were very good freshly made also the Pico de gallo was very fresh. I ordered a giant burrito, I guess it had everything, chicken, pork and beef. It was saulty, and even though it tasted fresh, it didn't taste authentic. We also ordered a plate triple threat or something like that. Three soft taquitos with fajitas, pork,and chicken with three different sauces. It was ok but not great.
Service was OK, everything looked nice and clean.
I founded kind of expensive because that and 2 beers and a coke with tip added 70$
Won't go again.

My husband and I made a quick turn to Boqueron for dinner after spending a day at Playa Succia. It was pouring down rain and we just wanted dinner and a beer and a casual atmosphere. This was a pleasant surprise. The owners and wait staff were kind and helpful. The menu is in English which is helpful for us and the wait staff spoke good English. The food was wonderful and authentic. Was our best meal in Puerto Rico so far. Will go back!

There is Mexican, then there is TexMex, and then Puerto Rican Mexican. Excellent Margarita (if you follow my reviews you know I am a Margarita snob). The small sampler plate could be a meal for 2. The cilantro & garlic dip is phenomenal, and a tightly kept secret. The staff was delightful. Most importantly the food was delivered faster than any place else in the area. Yadria acted as our tour guide suggesting several places we could visit while in the area. We'll be back. Monday- Thursday they don't open until 3:00. Weekends at Noon. Open 7 days a week.

$5 a COLD TACO. Xiomara the waiter for takeout had the kitchen shook. She ordered 27 tacos. When I asked for 7steak +2more steak tacos. Total =9
This lady had the restaurant ask us almost 5 times. Confirmed 9 tacos.
One they had that down, foods cold, ingredients were wrong, and she waited till my food got there to bring bill. I’ve been served by children better than Xiomara served. IQ of a 2 year old

Great food (chipotle sauce chicken was delicious), delicious drinks, good pricing, and absolutely lovely employees. We visited during a power outage in all of Boca Rojo and the employees were so incredibly friendly and hospitable. The food was wonderful and the place itself is very nice and clean. Truly I can not say enough great things about this place. I loved it, highly recommend.

Our hotel recommended this place for dinner - which was one of a few places open on a Tuesday - but we are glad we went. The staff was super friendly, attentive, and quick. The food was delicious. I would recommend this place to anyone visiting. The jalapeno poppers were super yummy.

Late diners that we are, we were happy to find a restaurant open on a Monday night. They had limited seating due to covid, they try hard to abide to social distancing. We ordered by phone while waiting on benches outside & food took an hour from call to serve. So just expect that. Host was super friendly & accommodating. Place was clean, nice family friendly atmosphere. Margarita was on point & delicious.

We had to wait in our car because of Covid- related restrictions for a half hour it it was worth the wait. Staff was friendly. The decor and ambiance were attractive and colorful. The food was delicious! Best chicken in mole sauce I’ve had in a very long time. It was nice to see the owner personally come to thank guests for they visit. Will definitely return when I’m back in Boqueron, PR.

Great service, great food and great drinks. Everyone was extremely pleasant and made us feel at home. Minimal wait time. The food was very fresh and flavorful. Can’t wait to come again on our next trip to Puerto Rico!

Not crowded for lunch but the food was delicious.Any udon plate highly recommended.
They also had a terrace with a very well stocked bar.
