Our first visit was one of great pleasure and surprise. The quality of the ingredients, their excellent preparation, and the service that accompanied them are superlative on this side of the island. A good friend recommended the restaurant to us and I am glad I went with my family.
The price of the different dishes reflects their high quality and preparation. That said, our opinion is that the food is on another level not seen in this area.
The appetizers we tried and recommend are the ceasar salad with fresh anchovies, and the focaccia bread board with various butters, olives, cheeses, and dried fruits.
The main courses were the branzino, extremely fresh and delicious; the double pork chop, juicy and spectacularly seasoned; and the duck at the perfect temperature.
The desserts were the coconut crème brûlée served inside a coconut, and the flourless chocolate cake with ice cream.
The service was excellent, informative, and friendly.

While visiting family in Cabo Rojo, we visited this new restaurant and had some of the best food I’ve ever tasted. The pan-seared duck has a perfect crisp, the tenderloin melts in your mouth, and the flourless chocolate cake is perfect to share. The cocktails are like nothing I’ve ever tasted - The Trixie is perfect if you don’t want something too sweet. Also, as someone with Celiac disease, it was so comforting knowing the chef was knowledgeable and provided gluten-free options. I will definitely be coming back for my next visit!

Wow! What an unexpected treat! Upon hearing the news that a new Fine Dining restaurant with a classically trained Chef had just opened in Boqueron, Puerto Rico, we were excited to try it out. I will have to say that it was a unique culinary experience and one that we recommend highly. The menu was filled with unique elevated takes on local cuisine, but there was also a selection of tasty Tapas on the menu. We started with an appetizer and bread service that was packed with flavor. Our entrees were both outstanding; she had the lobster on a bed of bucatini pasta in a rich white cream and cheese sauce. I had perfectly seared medium rare duck breast on a bed of bean stew with fresh vegetable casserole. The Chef came by our table to check on us. It was a wonderful experience!

We chose Chef Alfredo’s for an extraordinary Valentine’s Day dinner and wine pairing. The menu included five courses with superb options for each. For my main, I chose a perfectly cooked filet mignon with truffle butter, lobster mac and cheese and vegetables. My bride ordered a wonderful Chilean sea bass with spinach, mashed potatoes and crab fondue. All of the courses were notable but my dessert, an extraordinary chocolate-marshmallow fondue with an infinite number of treats for dipping, was one of a kind. An unusual feature of the restaurant is a giant TV monitor over the bar that permits diners to watch the kitchen at work. Chef Alfredo provided a truly memorable dinner and evening. His restaurant is a welcome addition to the West Side culinary scene.

Returning to Chef Alfredo in Boquerón, Puerto Rico, was a decision well made. My second visit reaffirmed that this restaurant is truly a gem in the culinary world. Once again, the dining experience was nothing short of spectacular.
The highlights of this visit included the exquisite escargots and lentils, which were a perfect blend of tender texture and rich flavor. The Chilean sea bass with crab fondue was an absolute masterpiece, showcasing the chef's skill in balancing delicate flavors and creating a dish that is both sophisticated and deeply satisfying. To end the meal on a high note, the coconut crème brûlée was an indulgent delight, with its creamy custard and perfectly caramelized top offering a sublime conclusion to the evening
Chef Alfredo’s passion for culinary excellence and his dedication to providing an unforgettable dining experience are evident in every dish. I can’t wait for my next visit!

The experiences were rewarding and the space is welcoming. I liked the attention of the waiters and the willingness to help choose the main dish. The drinks were spectacular, especially the ATL. For dessert we ordered coconut crème brûlée.

My wife and I went during the Valentines Day celebrations and we had a great multi course meal. It was wonderful food with lots of great options and the service was excellent! The drink specials were excellent, and we loved dinner and dessert.

Unmatched! Amazing gastronomic experience of Puertorrican food with a twist. Cozy, elegant and charming spot with great bar, wine selection and excellent food and desserts. Our server Sebastián was helpful, friendly, knowledgeable, and professional.

If you are a "foodie" anywhere on the Island... plan a stop at Chef Alfredo's in Boqueron Cabo Rojo. Once you have eaten there you will simply ask yourself... "When can I go back? " Simply, fabulous!!
