Such a good place for a party. Lovely restaurant since the recent refurb. The staff were very helpful, friendly and enthusiastic, and the buffet food was good quality, tasty, interesting and plentiful. Highly recommended.

Absolutely appalled. We thought we would try a new pub for a meal out. We ordered king prawn starters, which came out as small regular prawns. We then ordered the summer BBQ grill which came with a steak (ordered to come out as medium rare)and...More

Great food at fantastic prices. Relaxing, welcoming atmosphere. Service was a bit slow but they were very busy, and always served with a smile being apologetic for the delay.

Every year my ex colleagues and I meet at this pub. Only because of the location. It's a half way house to where we all live. Anyway, this particular visit wasn't the best. Main meal couldn't fault it, however the choice was limited. We all...More

The staff could not have been better, both the waitresses and bar staff. The problem must be in the kitchen. 13 of us were eating on the last Monday in June. I ordered first but mine was one of the last to arrive. Two of...More

Friendly, welcoming staff. Charlotte was our waitress for the last occasion we visited. She was attentive to our needs, she explained what they had ran out off (which doesn't always happen everywhere you go),gave us just the right amount of time to choose and came...More

Should be fresh bread instead of a thin and dried up slice. Should be a pate that had some taste and structural cohesion, NOT a slice of fluffed up mousse. The description my daughter gave of the inedible pickle was that it tasted like a...More

We re visited the shoulder of mutton last week, and were very pleased with the improvement from our last visit. We found a good improvement in the waiting times, and the food was served without too much delay. There is still room for improvement, but...More
