Easy access to this Hotel/restaurant on East car street. Had a south Indian thali at the place, which also offers noodles and fried rice at lunch time.

It's attached to Hotel Akshaya. Good varieties and reasonable quantity. We had south indian meals and tiffin (Dosa varieties) and is really good

We had our dinner here after a visit to the temple. We were the only people in the place at 7:30 PM. They had a range of both North and South Indian food which was well prepared but nothing exceptional. It was also clean with...good filtered water. It was nice to have a quiet respite after three hours in the crowds at the temple. I ordered some stir-fired noodles with mushrooms and they came with veggies and no mushrooms. We had Lunch at this restaurant, though we arrived at 3 PM we had good food service. We ate the full meals and the servers were very attentive and provided us unlimited rice and kootu & poriyal varieties. The cost was very reasonable and the...service was very nice.More

Hotel provides delicious south indian meals and breakfast, do not try north indian and chinese food, it is not upto the standard. When you stay in hotel akshaya they give complementary breakfast for 2 persons. Breakfast is reasonably good.

The rooms are renovated with contemporary styles; rooms are very spacious now. Very comfortable. Stayed for 2 days in # 101. Staff are courteous. Maintenance is good and neat. Veg restaurant is ok. Breakfast which is complimentary, is really good and sumptuous. Parking space though...available, is cramped. My Honda city got scratches and minor dents while negotiating! Overall excellent place for a sojourn in a temple town.More

Its in the range between average and good restaurant. Not much crowded. Food taste is good but its not hot. Can be recommended since this restaurant is very close to the famous Natarajar temple. Service is satisfactory.

We were there on 06-03-2016 for search of good North Indian veg food in Chidambaram. Our Cab driver Mr. Pondy told us for this only good vegetarian hotel. So we were there for dinner. We can not get North Indian food, but the counter girl...and cook tried there best to give us good alternative food which was just like our stuffed parotid, which they called chapati with curry. We get a tasty curry and parotha there. We recommend our follow travellers to stay here, they also have good and comfortable rooms with tasty food and good service. This is probably the only decent hotel in Chidambaram. With not many options to stay, this place has a full occupancy most times. Positives 1) The rooms and spacious 2) Clean to a large extent 3) Private car parking available 4) Walking distance from the...temple Cons 1) Too costly for the service/ambience/comfort 2) It is more a lodging house that is maintained decently 3) One has to carry personal toiletries etc to avoid disappointment. 4) There is nothing extra at this hotel that attracts attention.More
