This place has amazing cheesecakes! Even though it's small, I've seen it accommodate large safari groups without a problem. The washrooms are very clean. It's a nice little spot to enjoy an iced coffee in the afternoon!

The open-front café provided a pleasant view of colorful lantana bushes, the road to the Ngorogoro Crater, and the surrounding fields. The menu offered latte, cappuccino, hot or iced coffees; there is also a refrigerated case with a selection of cold drinks. Coffee was reasonably...priced, and tasty enough that we bought a bag of ground coffee beans to take home. Service was prompt and cheerful. We were all satisfied with our beverages, served in sturdy cardboard take-away cups (with lids). The restrooms were very clean, and provisioned with soap and paper towels (in addition to toilet paper). It was such a pleasant respite that we stopped at Mambo Café again on our way back to Arusha, to enjoy iced coffee with our lunch boxes. We wish Mambo every success, and look forward to stopping by on our next trip to Tanzania.More

Luxury and nature - balanced just right. How anyone can be pampered amidst wilderness is beyond expectations - A "must experience" for those who appreciate nature. Definitely 5 stars.

On the road to Ngorongoro Crater you can find this excellent coffee restaurant. It stood out to us, because in contrast to the rest of the buildings this restaurant was new, freshly painted and clean. The owners are friendly and speak good English. All sorts...of coffee are prepared by a real barista. Since we like to drink a good coffee in the morning, it was a good choice to stay here for a short stop. Situated in a cool environment which is just a stones throw away from the ngorongoro conservation gate. The staff are friendly, the service was awesome.
