We visited Lismore Castle recently, however we happened to get a windy day & all we needed was some cosy spot to warm up and have a coffee. This we found in Summer House, where we able to get toasties & coffees. For 3 people it was about Euro 30+. Staff were friendly & there was a lovely fire lit... More

This is a lovely cafe. Just off the main street it offers lots of home baking. Hubby had nice brack and a cup of tea. I had coffee and lovely lemon drizzle cake. Everything is homemade and quite delicious. The staff were attentive and friendly. I would come back here again.

Our first impressions of the place were great. This is a really nice and cosy cafe and the open fireplace looked fantastic and added to the ambience! Nice decor and lighting; top marks for aesthetics! The food was good as well, we had the full Irish and the breakfast bap, both as equally good as each other. Staff were lovely.... More

Called at lunchtime. Lovely interior with real fire. Food bland and disappointing. Soup bland and Victoria sandwich cake tasteless and didn't seem very fresh. Coffee about which there was a lot written was not hot. Sorry, but raise the bar.

Sometimes you find a gem, and we found one in Lismore. The Summer House Cafe is a treasure. We got a warm welcome the moment we stepped into the cafe. Water was immediately delivered with a smile together with the menu. And the food was magnificent. I had the best salad I've had in years, followed by a delicious raspberry... More

We visited here while passing through Lismore, we order two panini's, both were delicious and a pot of tea... We didn't go for desert but all the cakes looked gorgeous.... One negative... Thought the 14.30 finish time for lunch was very restrictive for the cafe as the menu was of a nature for all day ie.. Soup, panini's, sandwiches, from... More

We had a very enjoyable lunch sitting outside this café. The food was very good and there was plenty of space inside to sit on wet or cold days. IT is also a bakery with some very tempting cakes and biscuits!

Lovely spot for a coffee and allow some time to relax after the many beautiful walks in the area. I would also highly recommend the scones.. Really nice place overall.
