The value for money is not up to par...everything is focused on the place and the view, certainly appreciable, but nothing very original or exceptional in the meal for 25 euros, the garnishes were identical for the 4 plates while the meats were different. The dishes are sent too quickly to be prepared on demand. The cooking is not controlled. We are disappointed.

Very disappointing.. deplorable service no welcome. We took a menu for 35€, a starter: snail puff pastry with morels, a dish of chicken with tasty camembert sauce but a garnish that lacks generosity and a crème brûlée flambéed according to the waitress without alcohol which turned out to be too inaccurate. sweet and uninteresting... in the end we didn't really enjoy ourselves...

First you should know that if you choose a menu (even a menu for 55 euros) you will have to have lunch inside.
Too bad, because the terrace is nice, especially when you have a superb sun outside.
Perfect assortment of seafood, but whole lobster (surcharge) very disappointing. No cooking seasoning, very bland and served with a bisque sauce really unsuitable.
The welcome is nice, but still disappointed by our meal which lasted 1h30 with the wait between dishes,

A restaurant that looks nice outside and better quality than other restaurants catches tourists, well no .. we would have eaten much better in the local brasserie. Expeditious service , dishes served that resemble the canteen plate , a children’s menu with a cold and uncooked minced steak and when asked to heat it because it is very cold we allow ourselves to put our finger on it so as to “check” if we do not say false! We are not offered a dessert card and when we get up to pay nobody asks us if it went well .. so pay 70€ for it I can assure you it hurts! We will never set foot in it again and will not give you good publicity. Too bad because we are not just passing tourists ..

Looking for a restaurant at Affordable Awards (yes I mean from here, Affordable Awards in Saint Valery it's complicated finally even expensive it's something also so even mouise! ) looking at the map and more sea view with stupendousness but we thought (it sounds too beautiful haha because restaurant overlooking the sea with Affordable Awards = restaurant of m** and catches tourist ) but because of the "House" and the Pension which gave full view, perlimpin powder genteel ladies and gentlemen can I say bah it was no longer the case our powder turned to dust ..
When you arrive, yes, what does it make you want, it is said suckling pig that turns to the spit and think that we could taste it this famous "pig" that it gives water to the mouth so we rushed to sit down to taste good French food as well as Picarde ..
Fast and efficient friendly server.
We had ordered naturally suckling pig and beef rib so how to tell you .. what we had on our plate were mostly pot pig on fire and not suckling pig but masked by barbecue sauce .. but mostly in conversation .. served with a big fat bou (in the suckling pig there are not even any ) and talk about the rib which was not one but a steak ( I should have taken a picture to show you .. ) frankly how to save by making believe what they serve you on your plate is homemade ..
We were so disappointed that we left without dessert.

There were 3 menus offered: €25 -€35 and €45
We chose the €25 menu this May 1st evening. With the glass of white wine taken as an aperitif, a little herb cheese is served with some toasted bread croutons.
As a starter I chose a plate of 6 excellent oysters of excellent freshness (two nothing missed, the little vinaigrette, lemon, butter, black bread.
Then grilled roast piglet with barbecue sauce accompanied by a dumpling of mash and carrots. The creamy sauce is very pleasant in the mouth. Finally I finish with an extra dessert (I rarely have one) but I fall for a tatin-style roasted pineapple: in fact fresh and roasted pineapple served on real homemade whipped cream all placed on puff pastry.
If the room is classic, pleasant without any originality, this restaurant respects the authenticity of the place, which is similar to a Norman manor.
I highly recommend it

A very nice place, classy restaurant, we had reserved for a Sunday lunchtime, market day, a menu for €25 was offered, when we arrived it was told to us that there was no longer a menu for €25 €, so menu at €35! Surprised but hey we were there and all the surrounding restaurants were full. Despite everything, we are not disappointed by the quality and service. Appetizer, a starter, a main course, a cheese and a dessert.

Being regulars at this establishment, we chose after the aperitif to opt for the most expensive menu by accepting a supplement for the lobster (+10€). I ask the waiter if it is indeed European lobster because on the coast we find it in all fish stores. He confirmed. I receive the plate of Canadian lobster and an ordinary garnish of green beans and potatoes (just like my companions who chose grilled meat.) I point out the error to the waiter who dodges. The bill arrives and the bad faith of the manager who makes a pirouette by a simple observation...'the error is human', she says, to which I respond that the price of the lobster is very different depending on the origin.. .open your eyes, even when choosing the best, tourist scams are never far away..

Bonjour Madame, Monsieur,
Bien cordialement

First of all, I recommend making a reservation otherwise it will be difficult to eat in this establishment.
We had the chance to eat under the pergola, which allows us to have a beautiful view of the bay.
The welcome seemed a little cold to me at first but the person in charge of our table then relaxed and I even found him pleasant and very professional.
We had a sea sauerkraut which was very good and well presented (the menus - which we did not take because it was too much for us - are excellent value for money)
Please note that the outdoor terrace is not open in the evening, only at midday.

Come for lunch on a weekday in August, the restaurant was full. Fortunately, we had booked.
As a result, the service has been very long, particularly for drinks ordered at the very beginning of a meal.
To make us wait, we are brought two small glasses of fish rillettes, excellent, but served with hard bread inedible except to break a tooth. There was bread in basket that better suited us.
We tested the Tradition menu which includes 1 starter, 1 main course and 1 dessert.
Cantal-grated soft egg is excellent. The plate of 6 oysters will suit amateurs.
The cream mussels are generously served, the fries are good.
On the toilet side, the picture is less friendly. There is only one Dales toilet and one gentlemen's toilet for both rooms and the terrace! Needless to say, the waiting girl quickly lay down at the end of the meal. The worst part is that this line takes possession of the lobby. For an establishment of this range, this lack of toilets is clearly a handicap.
So I recommend choosing a busy day to test this Best Value Award restaurant.

Well placed on the promenade, a beautiful setting at first glance, but ultimately kitsch, old-fashioned, average service, smell of cooking and the company of bluebottles throughout the meal.
The plate is at the level of the atmosphere, a lamb shank (poorly) cooked and presented banally, is this PDO lamb from the bay?
Response from the waiter "No, pre-salted lamb is hard and fatty..."
Brief address to forget.

We came for lunch as a family and were very well served by Evelyne (soon to retire) and by the very young Pauline (already very professional despite her young age). The two menus that we chose, at 25€ and 35€, were very generous and delicious! We will definitely come back!

Good value for money. Friendly staff. We tested the 3 menus at 25-35 and 45. For the 3 menus, the portions are in line with the price and the dishes are very good. The seafood plates are fresh (contrary to what some say) I loved my cassolette sweetbreads and st hacques and I am difficult to cook 2. 201 euros for 4 with aperitif, starter, main course, cheese and dessert (no cheese for menu 25) as well as a good bottle of white wine . We stayed for 2 hours and it was nice not to have to wait too long between meals. Furthermore private parking so no need to look for a place if you are not staying in St Valery.

Friendly seafood plate but shrimps and shrimp with little seasoning good oysters But none of the dishes of resistance was tasty: neither the skate , very bland, nor the head of calf rolled mainly with the tongue. The piglet was copiously served. Pineapple dessert was stiff and probably not daytime,... the gourmet coffee is at an unjustified Award
The service is efficient but the patterns lack roundness... Award quality ratio is average

There are very good things on the menu: salmon tartare, lamb mouse, pana cotta, crème brûlée. On the other hand avoid the shells Saint James starter and dish. The chocolate mellow was overcooked and dry, but it was very expensive.
