This restaurant is rather small - about 10-15 tables. The setting is cosy and reservations are recommended. I was tempted by this restaurant to try some upscale food. However, I was a little disappointed. For instance, the side salad was the same for both the dishes I had. Although good, the dishes were also a bit blunt. I would have... More

We enjoyed a very good dinner here over Easter. My soup was a little tepid but other than that everything was fine, fresh and delicious. The service was friendly too. Sirloin steak was excellent and perfectly cooked. Nice fish dishes too.

Our server didn't speak English but tried so hard to make our meal as perfect as possible. The old was fantastic. I had the steak as part of my four courses which was perfectly cooked and tasted fantastic. We were told to book which we did. The restaurant was fairly busy but the meal was not rushed. The wine selection... More

We entered this restaurant as it was raining... Luckily, because it is a very nice restaurant and the food is sublime. The staff is also very nice. We can recommand the Côte du Rhone Village.

We stayed at the hotel and had dinner two nights out of four. They have a menu formula with a choice of three dishes per courses. That's a bit limited to have dinner there every night if you're staying for longer, as there is no a la carte menu, but everything is freshly made and when they run out of... More

We dined on two nights in the restaurant and had excellent meals both times. The menu is fixed price for either 2 or 3 courses, lovely Picadie pancakes. The wine is good, particularly the house choices. Not cheap, but good food, well prepared and presented. Service is just right, neither too fast nor too slow.

A clean, friendly hotel one road back from the front which has a good restaurant. The breakfast buffet left nothing to the chance. If you cannot find what you like here then stay at home. Our twin room was newly refurbished and spacious, St Valery seems to undergone something of a renaissance in the years since our last visit (20)... More

We stayed for 3 nights but only had dinner twice (unfortunately) as we thought we would share our cutom with other restauantts in town (see recent review of La Drakkar). Very friendly quiet hotel in the nothern (old) part of town. The chef is also a poet and very approachable. Breaksfasts are the best I have had for years with... More

Good sound local dishes and a nice old fashioned cosy decor, the restaurant is popular with the locals which is a good sign.
