Very good locaion of the terrasse in a sunny day. Menu of a bistro type. Not original but rather classic. Good service and rates.

This had a nice terrace outside the brasserie with great views the service from the waiters were great , the beer and wine were very good with a large excellent list. We had a dish of moules which were very large and super along with the Dorade which again was excellent and large. A very nice meal with goof food... More
Three times in one week we went to Le Courtgain the first time we were on the terrace we had a coffee and moved on the coffee was ok waiter was a little surly but no issue. The second and third time were inside and was a perfect bistro experience. Steak entrecôte, moules, creme brûlée were all perfect. My son... More
What a perfect brasserie, definitely worth a visit. Full of locals when we are there, which is always a good sign. The entrecôte grille was spot on and the desserts were impressive. Service was excellent. What more do you want from a brasserie? :)
This is a lovely little restaurant with great service. The food is good and well priced. We dined across the street from the brasserie in the outdoors dining area. The location is amazing with great views across the bay. On this occasion the weather closed in and the diners panicked just as we wanted to pay the bill. It all... More
Great brasserie on the square in Saint Valery with very charming and friendly staff. We went there twice on our stay and both evenings had a lovely time. This place has an outside area which feels a bit more intimate than some, with wonderful views over the Somme. The food was fine, with the Ficelle Picarde a notable hit which... More
Twelve of us ate here at lunchtime on Sunday. Eight adults and four teenagers. The service from the young waiters was superb, they encouraged us all to speak French but their English was perfect. Our orders, a mix of salad and seafood dishes was just what you need for a Sunday lunch at the seaside and the prices were more... More
This is our favourite restaurant in St Valery, their moules/mussels are always fresh, chips well cooked, this time we had the mussels with Curry sauce and tarragon cream. Wouldn't chose the curry again, but the tarragon cream was very good. Pudding s were Chocolate mousse and Apple tart with cream and custard. We prefer to eat in the restaurant but... More
St Valéry sur Somme is one of the few places in the area to have a market on a Sunday. And so the world comes here. It is on the south bank of the Somme estuary, opposite le Crotoy. If you feel particularly bonkers you can join a guided tour across the mudflats. There is a mediaeval old town which... More
We had walked through the town and decided to try here. The service was great and the food was tasty, my steak was rare and lovely, my wife's salmon was large and very good. Both boys enjoyed their choices, all in all a very pleasant experience. We were the first in at just gone seven, but when we left it... More
