Stopped here for a late lunch after a long walk and swim. What a find - we had lamb in tomatoes and lamb in lemon. Talk about value for money and quality meat. The staff were all friendly as well. Highly recommend

What can I say, if you don’t go you are missing out big time. Best lamb I’ve ever had and I come from Wales and the wine was delicious too. Thank you

For dinner the three of us enjoyed a delicious Greek salad with home made cheese, bread with olive oil and the house recommendation of perfectly grilled lamb chops. It was an excellent meal and we were given "on the house" ice cream and a smooth...shot of raki for dessert. If you are visiting the area around the Festos historical site and Malata beach stop by the Lamb House for a wonderful eating experience!More

Delicious home bred and milk fed lamb cooked on a fire fuelled spit. Soft and tender and tasting of Crete! Friendly service and a great experience.

Perfect taverna for diner after having visited Phaistos ! Playground for the kids. This restaurant is family owned, and the chef has its own farm, own meat, own sheep milk etc.. The delicious specialty is lamb on the spit, but barbecue meats must be okay...too ! We chose lamb on the spit, which is available only from Friday to Sunday. You can go and see the chef with the wooden fire for cooking the meat on the spit ! Delicious lamb, served with homemade fries, salad, and tzatziki. At the end of the meal, we got for free delicious fruits + homemade ice cream with sheep's milk and honey/toffee sweet sauce. Delicious ! Chef and waitresses are absolutely adorable. Recommend !More

Very good Taverne, you‘ll see the meat going round and round on the big grill. The food taste delicious and the family will warm welcome you. For our son the great playground and the ice cream as dessert was the best. We enjoyed our evening...there very much.More

Everything is homemade and fresh!! Excellent and I am a local. The lambs are milk fed raised on their farm and the cheese and dairy products are all made from their own fresh sheep milk.
