Had dinner here. They have parking. Well spread seating both open and AC room. Quick service though place was packed on Saturday night. We loved the appams, parotta, pepper chicken and beef roast. And we'll priced too. Courteous staff. I wished they had more variety.

Visited this place for dinner with family. It has an old school charm and a good ambience. Though this place is known for seafood, we had enough of that already and opted for our typical order of North Indian food.
Food ordered were:
Tandoori chicken- 5/5(yum)
Butter chicken- 4.5/5
Butter naan-4/4
tandoori roti- 3/5
Kerala parotta- 4.5/5
Green salad-5/5
Papaya juice-5/5
Food was good, service could have been better but overall worth the money paid.
Value for money-4/5.

Guided by the reviews, we reached this place for a lunch. The place was crowded for a Saturday afternoon and we had to wait about 10 mins to get seated. There were not much options available at that time, and somehow everybody was binging on Biryani :) so we followed the mandate of the crowd and ordered the Chicken Biryani. The food was pretty tasty and the amazing part was that even after stuffing ourselves, it did not feel heavy (something very unusual). The seating and ambience was traditional and the it looked like a go-to place for the locals. FYI - there is ample parking space.

Slow service. Waiters don't even bother to take your order, need to follow up and call them frequently. AC room is too small and always reserved for bigger families, should have more 2-4 seater space

Today my sister had a bad experience from Randhaal. She went to order dinner for takeaway, the cashier took the order and even they paid for the food. They made her to wait for around 1 hour and after that when she checked with them they said the order is still not ready. We had no other option but to cancel the order and ask for refund. This is such an awful experience from such a reputed restaurant. Just want to say because of the ignorance of some staffs the good will of the restaurant is losing

This will be the worst restaurants that I have ever visited.. Gone to have my birthday lunch at 1.15PM.. they offered a verbal menu, as they are well known for sea food ordered the same based on the menu given.. after 5 minutes of waiting restaurant guy comes back and tells the items that we have ordered is no more available.. it was a disappointment and needed to leave the restaurant as they only have meat/chicken.
A restaurant who runs without the menu provided and no stock available within 1.5hrs of they opening for the day, and a verbal menu with no stock/ no food available… real sad and worse…

Yesterday I had ordered onam sadhya for my Mother which was even confirmed, and they had failed at delivering the food
Have been trying to call them since morning till even night but have not got any respond.
She had been left without lunch for a very long time because of their carelessness.
Such irresponsibility has left us disappointed will never recommend this restaurant.

Today being Onam a special day , i had ordered for 2 Sadhya a day before where they had even confirmed about the order , this was done just so we get the food before they run out of it.
We had then tried calling on the day of onam since morning and they dint even have the courtesy to pick up the call . And so they did not deliver the food and left us hanging till 2 pm.
Had one of the most dissapointing experience with a restuarant ruining a good day.

The food was amazing. My wife ordered the chembali and with one half done with masala and the other half lemon/garlic...very well done .
The service was excellant , the staff were attentive and very courteous... the caramel custard i had at the end of the meal was a fitting end.
My wife and my aunty were blown away with the aunthenticity of the flavors.
A great way to end our Kannur trip.

Stated to be the best restaurant in Kannur for Kerala style cuisine and sea-food, we were recommended to try its specialities during our recent trip to Kerala. We were primarily interested in the sea food and were thrilled to see the live fish counter kept at the entrance of the hotel where fish and other seafood items were available for choosing. Customers can decide how the fish is to be cooked.
We chose a huge Pompret and requested for it to be barbequed and made adequately spicy. The final product was yum to say the least.
We dined twice during our two days in Kannur and only have praise for the food served at Raandhal. The service too was superb and the overall expenditure was absolutely reasonable.
The restaurant has adequate parking and is constructed in the form of a Kerala house with adequate seating. A must visit place for anyone who is interested in Kerala style cuisine. Lovely food!

Really very bad experience. Today evening was very special to us. So we decided to celebrate with “Randhal- Kannur” and we placed some orders. Randhal team have taken the orders from us and advise to wait.But we did not received any response or ordered item even after1 hour.Once we approached concerned team after1 hour we came to know that the ordered items are not available with them and they refunded the amount not even ready to apologize.The above behavior was really shocking and they spoiled our great day.

After trip advisor recommendation we went there to have authentic seafood.
Firstly the restaurant was smelling , we ignored considering the crowd.
Waiter came and directly asked for order we were shocked , we asked for the menu and this person was like ghee rice , fried rice and some biryani.
We then specifically asked this is the only menu , he rudely responded yes what you want.
Obviously we moved out of the place in anger also asked the manager about the same ,he was not having any answer.
Disclaimer :- its ok to restaurant get out of stock but we saw other people enjoying fish and other dishes and when we were moving out people were choosing fish from live counter
We felt descriminated due to reasons i won't like to mention so it's the worst place to go please don't even think

ONAM sadya.
Service was too bad... And supplied food not satisfied. Suppliers are not gentle. Cost is very high. It's Rs 499 per head.
