From Daniel, the owner, to Marta, the chef, to the personnel, everybody is friendly, dedicated and eager to please you. Prices are reasonable for the high quality food. Lamb, fish and pasta are memorable.

After a day where everything that could go wrong went wrong, we pulled into LA Paloma at 9pm in a rainstorm and found Bahia Resto to be the only restaurant that looked open. It turned out to be one of the best meals we've ever had. Excellent, thick steak and an amazing local fish dish with roasted apples and blue... More

We had a business dinner at this restaurant and the staff made it wonderful. They cooked chicken, steak and sausage on the parrilla and set up a buffet table of side dishes. They paired very nice local wines with it all.

The ambiance and food is great. The menu has a variety of dishes. Sometimes you should make a reservation. I recommend it

We couldn't eat there 'cause we're insulted by the owner. We're in seven people and we had to go out without eating why he didn't had advertised us to reserve before. We were with three children. We don't recomend.

Travelling along the eastern coast of Uruguay on business in the off-season, even when the whether is fine, can be a challenge. Many of the small villages completely close up and it's impossible to find a room or a meal. But in La Paloma, despite the lack of tourists, Bahia Resto remains open, thank goodness! And it just happens to... More

Good food, though a bit overpriced. Portinos are too little as well. Very good place, Easy parking and air conditioning.

Thank you AGSchulz for your comments. We believe that the prices of the dishes we offer are based on the excelent quality of raw materials and the careful preparation our chef Marta Lujambio and her staff make to each dish. Description
Bahía Restó is a traditional gourmet restaurant located in La Paloma seaside resort since 1936. All the dishes we offer are made by Chef Marta Lujambio who carefully prepares them with ingredientes like fish and shrimp brought by hand craft fishers to the restaurant. Marta also cooks tasty pasta and beef based plates which delight our clientele. We open all year round.
