Got lost searching for this place previous night and almost gave up. We were glad we tried the next day. Blissful seafood by the sea. Looks good and tastes good at friendly prices.

LOTS of flies. Wonderful fresh fish for a fraction of what you get in Nairobi. Huge snapper, fantastic lobster AND octopus plus rice and other staples and we barely dented our pockets. Close to the beach. Nice Staff. Worth a visit.

Place looks like a slum and we were about to leave. But decided to have a try and never regreted. It was my best meal in Diani Beach. Fresh seafood cooked in your presence. Portions are huge. Its cheap! especially comparing to other places at the resort. Highly recommend, you won't regret.

Conveniently located en route from the backpackers to the beach, Colobus Shade has very friendly not-pushy staff and a menu consisting of mostly fish and seafood. But for the vegetarians like myself there's a vegetable curry that's worth ordering, as well as chips with salad. The portions in general are huge: you get potatoes/chips and rice with everything as well... More

We stayed just down the street from this restaurant and ate here a few times. The staff is super friendly and welcoming, and the food can't be beat. The fishermen have like a fish market place just next door, so whatever seafood you like will be taken from the market area and cooked fresh right when you order. There is... More

It is very typical and simple restaurant near the fish market on the beach. You are sure that the fishes is always fresh. It is possible eat only fish and drink Tusker Beer or soft drinks. There is always an happy atmosphere. Of course the restaurant is unformally but confortable. The tables and chairs are in the sand without roof... More

We had a farewell dinner for 20 kitesurfers there and the event went smooth and everyone enjoyed the food served. You can be surprised with the WC location but it turnes out to be OK after few glasses.
