Padma Guest House is an old famous place to savour Kolhapuri Non-veg, especially mutton. The Place is on first floor which you access through array of old photos of the owner(s),
and of Chatrapati Shahu Maharaj and of old Kolhapur. The photos are continued in dining hall. The decor is simple, tables large and place clean. Service is polite and prompt.
You can have varieties of Kolhapuri mutton like special mutton, muttton lonche (pickle), fry mutton, green mutton, mutton kharda, Kheema and mutton rice. They are available as ala carte or as in thalis. Super Special Mutton Thali gives samples of four of these. Thalis are sufficiently large. And of course unlimited supply of Tambda and Pandhra Rassa. Authentically Kolhapuri. Taste is special, authentic and awesome. Chicken and Veg dishes are also available.
We went opening up after pandemic and were delighted to find foot (pedal) operated soap dispenser and water tap. No touching.
An old establishment, renowned and maintaining it.

Was on a ride from Delhi to Bangalore and stopped for lunch at it was on my list since long, the hospitality I recived from the the parked my bike till I leave was just amazing. The server Laxman was just so hospitabale and explained everything so well before I order and made sure I ordered the best. The fresh and hot bakar was just soo amazing. If u around just drop by for an amazing mutton meal.

This is located in the heart of city, (parking could be challenge). A worth visiting place founded by Lt. Col Nanasaheb Ingle. There are lot of retro pictures on the stairs and corridors which are interesting. Once you enter the boarding house, the staff welcomes you well. The food is awesome, the kolhapuri tambda and pandra rassa is mouth watering. And mind, the rassa is not very spicy as depicted everywhere. It has a nice taste of its own. Do not miss the mutton keema papad. The portions are very good so order consciously to avoid wastage. The costs are absolutely reasonable. The ambiance is old style.

This is one of the best place to eat Kolhapuri veg and non veg thali. Location is 1 km away from the mahalaxmi temple. Must try special mutton and special chicken thali with solkadi.

The restaurant was clean and followed covid protocol. The food is honest flavoursome. The food is hot but not too spicy. The staff is warm and courteous. A definite recommend.

I had my kurma puri breakfast in the morning not bad..good for visitors and had my thali for lunch incredibly good taste gave two rotis with geera Rice n sweet... Maintenance is good with clean n tidy premises..

Visited the restaurant for dinner. Service was prompt. You will get authentic kolhapuri testy non veg food with tambda pandhra rassa.

Went there for lunch as it was recommended by the owner of the hotel where we were staying. Basic restaurant famous for its various thalis. We opted for the special mutton thali. The mutton pieces in the sukka were not that good but the preparation was nice, kheema needed a lit more spice hit, both the tambda and pandhra rassa were quite tasty and the mutton rice was good. Our waiter was good and always served us with a smile.

Overall food was ok, prices are very much on higher side which is very much ok as ambience is good, but how can you lag when it comes service. First thing no one greets you and escorts you to table. Then no one offers a glass of water too. Which is basic. When asked for extra plates it like a burden to staff. Staff who serves food is grumpy and no smile. It was a insult for me. Totally disappointed with this kind of service.

Been here on wife birthday as she was excited for Padma thali was asking for same for almost a month finally we was there nice restaurant simple setup. Won't find lavish or bling blong but food dam good very nice taste feel like home made food
