While on a walking/ cycling holiday with 8 friends I visited this pub on a couple of occasions. I found the locals were really friendly and the pub had a nice welcoming atmosphere.

Popped in twice to this pub while I was staying in Bishops Castle. Enjoyed a cider and some chips. Loved the atmosphere, decor and service. Sadly they only serve breakfast to those staying at their hotel. It looked quite good!

Good atmosphere, friendly locals, dogs welcome. Great place to stop and have a drink. They have a pool table and dart board.

They have just opened some glam ping pods out the back if the pub which look really good value too. Worth a visit if... More

Great beer, great food, great ambiance. The Sunday lunch was like home made and extremely tasty. Pre bookig is a must as it is very popular.
