Great pub food and service as well. We were there during the Real Ale festival and the food was all that we asked for.

We were a large group (14) people celebrating my brother's birthday. The staff were friendly and helpful and the food and drink were very good. My scallops and duck were just right. Although I didn't try the beer with our meal, I had tried it...More

This pub has many good points - an historic building and decent beer from the adjacent brewery. Sadly the food was disappointing - under seasoned, overcooked and not really good value for money in my opinion, Apparently many people think otherwise.

Very warm and welcoming country pub and brewery. The potatoe and blue cheese soup was excellent, three tunns burger and sundae were decent as well. Service was a bit haphazard (waited a long time for bill, though they did seem to be short staffed). Soup...More

The famous and historic Three Tuns Inn, (known locally as 'The Tuns') set at the top of Bishops Castle has been open since 1642! A deceptively large interior offers lounge, conservatory, snug, front bar and function room. Standing on the site of the oldest licensed brewery in the U.K, The Tuns offers modern eclectic cuisine using simple locally sourced ingredients in a happy, friendly, bustling environment and of course serves a wonderful array of real ales from the on site brewery. Pub and brewery are now separate businesses, but work very closely together to help create a truly worthwhile and memorable visit to this hidden gem of a market town, hidden away in the Shropshire hills, designated an area of outstanding natural beauty.
