I went there just for a drink with friends and the beer which has a good reputation was very good. A cozy comfortable pub with a quaint atmosphere

Were on holiday in the area and visited this pub for a quick drink. Landlord very friendly and welcoming. Husband liked the beer very much. Unfortunately did not have time to sample the food. Will return when next in the area.

Visited again as guests of a local group and we were treated to a buffet supplied by the pub. Very tasty selection. Friendly welcome from the staff. Good selection of beer - shame I was driving.
Great pub, service beer and food, fish and chip night was good, dog friendly even given biscuits. Favorite pub for beer the whole weekend, they brew all there own
