This was by far my favourite place on the island - great cheese and beers with explanation cards, superb service and nice outdoor area with heaters. Do it!

Very nice setting but grossly overpriced. $5 for a flight of 4 slivers of cheese, then when want to purchase works out to approx $130/kg. Definitely set up for overseas travellers.

We were clearly take away customers on our way to the 4pm ferry with 25 mins to spare which in any other establishment would be a reasonable time to order and have made 3 hot chocolates. But no. The only girl making drinks and taking orders continually took orders and seemed to prioritise orders in a haphazard fashion pouring a... More

This quirky little oasis has some incredible taste sensations to be sampled. Various cheeses all made on site, other products sourced locally, craft beer (i love the whey black beer - a challenge to Guinness!!! :-) packaged goods, pizzas and all serviced by an array of local and back-packer staff all of whom are happy to inter-act and share knowledge.... We were offered the measliest tasters of cheese you could imagine (smaller than my little fingernail - in front of us the guy actually cut an already small piece on the plate into four to create these!!). We then paid $5 to taste other, larger pieces which were produced from under the counter, only to find they looked like they'd... More

We called in here after our fabulous food experience at Get Shucked, feeling full we still enjoyed the tasting of cheese and the helpful commentary on the cheeses! We ended up buying cheese, bread and olives as well as wine and beer! The girl kindly gave us a discount and also 2 free coffees, which we appreciated having in the... More

Full disclosure: we just finished the cheese we bought at Bruny Island Cheese while visiting Tasmania last month. Sure, I can get cheese here in Sydney, but once I tasted this cheese, I knew I was taking some home. Treat yourself and stop by.

The day we were on Bruney Island it was very busy, stopped by twice as the first time it was standing room only. Called back past on the way home to get some cheese for dinner. Great Selection of hand crafted cheeses all made with love and local products. Be aware that they are not cheap, if you are looking... More

This was our lunch stop on the island. A fantastic decision!! Pizzas were the wildfire type with nice thin bases. We went with the smoke salmon pizza and the prosciutto pizza, both were delicious. We enjoyed our stop and would recommend this as a place to stop!
