They even have animals you can take the little ones to see. Our waitress Tracey was fab and very attentive. Just wish they had electric... More

We were a party of 8 with one coeliac. We were all very pleased by the size of the food portions. They were all very well presented and all very tasty. The pub was very busy for a Monday lunchtime and Tracy behind the bar worked extremely hard and kept things running very smoothly. We all felt that the food... More

Good food, real ales that were excellent, and a friendly atmosphere. The staff are welcoming, accommodating and like a bit of banter. Has a real family feel to the Inn and not the characterless manager feel that some pubs have. Children friendly the Inn is a cracker. Just what we needed when the day grew chilly. ATB to all there,... More

We visited here twice over the Easter Bank Holiday weekend; the Saturday evening and again for Sunday lunch. Really nice pub/restaurant with very friendly, accommodating staff. Food was lovely.

Lovely little pub. Very welcoming. Excellent menu choice. We were a group of 7. Each chose something different. Each meal was enjoyed. We will certainly be back. One member of the party is coeliac. Good gluten free choice. Excellent service from Tracy.

We often cycle from Nottingham to Carsington and generally stop at the Visitor Centre. This is a MUCH better option that we will use again. It has to be said that the toilet facilities have recently been updated and are superb...and a large garden where we could sit in the sun and keep an eye on our bikes...definitely a plus... More

Called in on the off chance for a meal. Fairly quiet, early teatime. We chose from the special board which had a wide variety of meals, including gluten free and vegetarian. We had peppered pork with potatoes and veg. Tender pork in a rich pepper sauce. Veg cooked perfect, not mushy. Asked for butter to go with new potatoes. Delicious. Tracy... More

3rd visit in as many weeks, with family and then today a visiting friend, the baby back ribs were the best and fell off the bone ( ask for extra napkins), must say there was a lady behind the bar who I found a little harsh, but it was busy. But I would keep coming back for our server Tracy... More
