Decided to go to the Queens Head for dinner last night. Good value for money. Food was amazing. Staff really friendly and helpful. Will definitely visit again. It was lovely looking out over the river.

We had a family lunch, three generations, nothing was too much trouble for the staff and the food was great. Top that with a great location to watch the boats and the world go by.

Came here on Saturday after a brisk walk along the Prom. We sat outside, under the umbrellas as there was the risk of showers! Lovely meals (we had the whitebait salad) helpful staff , fab views and importantly to us dog friendly inside and out!

A very well run pub with great views across the Blackwater estuary with its Thames barges. Staff were very efficient and quick although the place was very busy. The menu was different with the usual Fish & Chips, burgers and sandwiches (which did look very...More

Staff very pleasant. Sat outside in the rain under giant umbrellas watching the tide coming in. The haddock melted in the mouth, delicious.

Sorry we don't do a cooked breakfast at the moment. We do run our full menu from 11am every day if that is of any use

Dogs are allowed in both bars which also serve food. Not in the restaurant away from the bars.

Description
The best pub venue in Maldon, set on the Blackwater river.Thames barges aline the quayside. Large patio area, with seating for over 100 people. Over looked by Maldon St Marys Church. A wonderful setting on the quay, a fantastic old working dock fo yesteryear.
