Went in here for coffee early afternoon, dog friendly pub, very reasonable prices, also had Sausage & Onion in French bread with salad, only £5.25. Bright day which made the views across the estuary even better from where we were sitting. worth a visit.

Ordered drinks at the bar. There were 10 of us. A couple of us did not want a drink. After ordering and paying, we were told that if everyone wasn’t drinking, they would have to leave. The manager was rude, unprofessional and spiteful. Absolutely do...More

Good food at a reasonable price. Nothing special. Today’s pan fried sea trout was served with samphire, some of which was a little Woody. Sea bass was fine. Good beer but wine list is poor. Suggest reviewing the wine list. Staff nice. Great location

Had the house special of chicken stroganoff with rice and garlic bread. It was very tasty but the portion was on the small side for a male. Nice ambience and lovely view out to the river and boats from our seat

This is a legal question, so I suggest googling to find out the law on the employment of young people in premises serving alcohol.

Sorry we don't do a cooked breakfast at the moment. We do run our full menu from 11am every day if that is of any use

Dogs are allowed in both bars which also serve food. Not in the restaurant away from the bars.

The best pub venue in Maldon, set on the Blackwater river.Thames barges aline the quayside. Large patio area, with seating for over 100 people. Over looked by Maldon St Marys Church. A wonderful setting on the quay, a fantastic old working dock fo yesteryear.
