We visited the cafe for dinner looking fr genuine kumaoni food and it exceeded our expectations. We were greeted by some complimentary local Rhodendron drink. A little too sweet for my taste but was really enjoyed by the rest of our group. We ordered the...following Kumaoni mutton Bhate ke dupke (a kind of local dal made of ground local beans) Aloo sabzi Madua ki roti (a ragi roti so delicious topped with some ghee) Though we had to wait for a while for the food to arrive we really didn't mind much coz we did our chit chat with friends and had some ginger lemon honey tea which was lovely. The food was par excellence and definitely worth the wait. We were a group of picky eaters, one of us being on a diet as well....but we all indulged and left very happy almost in a food coma :) Worth a visit definitelyMore

A wonderful heritage property in Bhimtal. Very different from the run of the mill hotels and resorts scattered across Bhimtal. The Food is delicious.
