I went there for a late lunch and they were kind enough to admit me, which was great since I was so hungry. The food and service was good.

Service here is not on the menu. You are made to feel as if you are a bother to the wait staff, and when asked about daily offerings, told no not today! Go elsewhere and continue to love Italy rather than be put off here.
