Walking around Scicli, we came across this restaurant, also encouraged by the kindness and helpfulness of the waiter at the door. Excellent cross-section of Sicilian cuisine, with typical local traditional dishes. Very good value for money.

Very pleasant lunch, sit at the back of the restaurant in a quiet and more ventilated street. The flavor and aroma of the tomato in the parmigiana, the non-greasy fried fish, a fresh blancmange... all delicious. Excellent prices.

Right at the centre of the old town of Scicli

Loved this place so much we had dinner twice here! It is right at the centre of the main pedestrianised street of the historic centre of Scicli. A lovely place to sit and have an aperitivo while watching the world go by. Dinner was lovely both evenings. Food was very tasty and presented really beautifully on colourful ceramic plates. There's a good selection of antipasti, primi, secondi and dessert options. On one evening we just sat there and shared a few antipasti washed down with an aperol spritz and a gin tonic. The owner Marco is a lovely person who graciously explained the origin of the ingredients - all locally sourced and fresh. Lovely staff too.

We happened to this place by mistake, we ordered 2 pasta with tomato sauce, the one of the girl who arrived first was tasteless but at the same time bitter so I stopped the arrival of mine. We happen upon it by chance, attracted by the clearly visible menu and with the simple intention of eating 2 salads to stay light (so my opinion is necessarily limited to this dish alone) with seared red tuna, green salad, boiled eggs and cherry tomatoes, for €10 per dish. Dreadful. The waiter tried to overcharge me by 10 euros. Parmigiana was not heated properly - fridge cold at the bottom & warm on top. Green salad at 3.5 euros was a small bowl of chopped iceberg lettuce, with olive oil on the side. Poor quality, over-priced & they tried to rip me off. Avoid.

In the historic center and near an area that offers decent parking, rely on this restaurant that will make you discover new and ancient flavors of Sicilian cuisine. Chosen by chance looking a little online, we discovered this really cozy place in the center of Scicli. Traditional Sicilian dishes, variety of meat and fish. We started with pianelle (excellent), then we took a course each: ricotta ravioli in zucchini cream, seared and cut tuna (large portion and perfect cooking!) accompanied by side dishes. ...when we passed the tables of the "OSTERIA", encouraged by that familiar atmosphere, we sat down.....we left and couldn't stop praising the place from all points of view...welcome ...refined choice on the menu....almost insane cleanliness...a place not for everyone, but for people who understand these aspects that make the activity at the highest level.
