First the manager did not even greet us! Knowing that We are French, We thought He would be interested to say Hello at least. Second The mozzarella they served us was rotten! Of course they did not charge us. With so many other choices, To avoid!!

Quiet location face to the sea. Staff was totally amateur (and strong smell of sweat !). The « salade gourmante « : 3 very small pieces of bland cheese, average duck breast, dry and hard chicken gizzards, and the salad dressing was a failure. Moreover, the fruit shake was full of ice . Our meat was overcooked too .....More than... More

Hidden away from the busy Main Street was this quiet restaurant. The service was great and the food was really nice classic Thai.

Found this little gem via TripAdvisor. Our first impressions of the place were a bit jaded by the lack of people. However, once we sat down and looked at the menu we were pleasantly surprised. Win, our waiter was a young man who went out of his way to make us feel welcome. Can't express the fantastic level of customer... More

Awesome location. Friendly Staff! We were coming to have breakfast here.. few times a week. Surrounding people isn't annoying, everyone enjoys their meal. Haven't seen any drunks in two weeks. Probably because most of customers are French. P.s. Nice salad with dressing,Club Sandwich, Morning Egg,Bread with Goat cheese, Fried Frog Legs.. And amazing shot of yellow drink.. after your meal, which comes... More

This rest got a glowing review in a dining guide to Koh Samui. What we experienced could not have been further from the truth. The book is in the bin!. If you enjoy French food do yourself a favour and don't go. Such a waste of our time and money.

Amazing view on Chaweng bay, correct service, but tasteless food. the "duck confit" was very dry" and meat very tough. the is no effort on presentation and for the quality I think that prices are high. Go for the view, but have a drink only

We were worried looking at other reviews we wouldn't find this restaurant - if you're coming from north of Chaweng turn left just past the Anantara, from Chaweng right after Kandhaburi Resort. Follow the narrow road all the way to the end and you'll find the Cafe des Arts. It's worth finding. We were worried when the first 2 things... More

It took us a couple of attempts to find we were so glad we persevered. The setting is fantastic right on the waters edge, the food delicious while very reasonable and the staff as attentive as you could wish for.

We went to Cafe des Arts on our last lunchtime in Samui. It is located at the very, very top of Caweang Beach, close to the Anantara (Tree Tops restaurant), but in the back streets leading down t the beach, that you wouldn't venture into - if you weren't in the perfect safety of Samui. Has to rate as the... More

Description
Besides a great sense of hospitality, friendliness and warmth, Thai and French culture have in common their excellent reputation for food quality and diversity. As a result, "Au Café des Arts" offers a wide selection of dishes inspired from both cultures, mixing tastes and delights for the maximum pleasure of the big as well as the smallest hungry travellers.Located north of Chaweng Beach opposite to the desert island of "Koh Matlang" just 1 KM from the center where are all the shop and the night-life but far away enough for don't heard about any discotheques.
