Great coffee, ice cream. Tablet superb. Staff excellent, friendly and very helpful. Great selection of souvenirs. Sits right on the bay, looking at the Castle. Very popular.

Very pleasant to sit outside with a cake and a good cup of coffee overlooking castle bay. Great service and the fudge sample was most excellent

We had a nice lunch out of the patio as we enjoyed the wonderful sunny weather. They had a unique gift shop. Very nice people also packed up our breakable treasures and provided us with a box to ship some of our goodies home. Obviously, we had bought too many souvenirs and found we also didn't need the rain and... More

Wonderful visit ( as always) to buy lots of home made tablet - otherwise known as Hebridean toffee. Discovered The Deck are now open later for meals, including takeaways. Opted for the special of Barra prawn cocktail with chips and salad...... WOW - what can I say? HUGE portion of big meaty prawns in delicious cocktail sauce, just the best... More

Always pay a visit here when we are in Barra (at least once a year). Tablet is delicious and meals were very good when we visited last week. My wife says that the prawns were about the best she has ever tasted. Well worth a visit

My partner and I visited The Deck at Hebridean Toffee last week. The pot of coffee was huge and the portion of chocolate brownie was extremely generous. We were also given two pieces of tablet which were so tasty that we purchased four small bags to take home as holiday presents.

Hmmm! The tablet here is amazing! When you go in the door, there is a glass window where you can watch the tablet, cakes and other things being made. On a sunny day, we decided to have cake and tea on the deck. The tea was served with a square of tablet which is so gorgeous, and the cake was... More

This little cafe is sited on a deck overlooking the bay. It is just a lovely space to spend a while. Service was very friendly with samples of local tablet (fudge), both as we entered the shop and served with our tea. (Well, it is basically a toffee shop) The food menu looked interesting... but it wasn't meal time when... More
