Four of us dined here one evening during our stay in Vittoriosa Birgu. We were not disappointed. A meze of local dishes was presented to us before we chose our main course from a limited menu but one that suited all tastes. The wine that...More

We really enjoyed the evening at Tal-Petut. The food was awesome and there was a lot of things to eat. You have to know that you can just have that one menu, choosing only the meat. It isn't really cheap for maltese standards, but absolutely...More

Very cosy small restaurant with delicious food and a very friendly service. Everything was freshly prepared and especially the starters were the hit. Strongly recommend to reserve a table in advance.

This place came recommended from all corners - trip advisor, lonely planet, AA guide and locals alike, so we knew we had to go and see what the fuss was about. It was a little hard to find, hidden behind the inquisitors palace, but we...More

A superb restaurant which provides a great dining experience. You start with a large selection of different small dishes from tasty dips to pickled vegetables. This followed by a choice of selected main courses all featuring locally produced meat and produce. A truely great experience.

An exceptional dining experience! We were given a fresh antipasto plate to start. Everything was homemade, super fresh, tasty and authentic. We barely had room for our mains, but these were also sublime. A lovely traditional dessert topped off a wonderful night! Highly recommended!!!

We had to book as this place is so popular. You are more or less told what you are going to have to eat that night rather than ordering. The first course was an amazing array of local food interestingly presented. We chose from the...More

As Glen J says i don't believe Tal-Petut is open for breakfast. They arrange private gatherings but if you don't contact them, i would say they only do dinners ( at least when i was there, beginning May). We wanted to have... More
