We have been here several times - always a thrill and we strongly recommend everyone to go there. In fact to visit this restaurant is considered a MUST. Gambas Langkawi makes life worth living. Staff is wonderful and makes you feel sincerely welcome. Enjoy!

We’ve eaten here several times during two winter visits to Gran Rey. Always enjoyed everything about the experience. Recently returned with a group of friends, and they agreed that it lived up to our high praise.

Our head chef, Yee Thoong "Andy", will delight your tatsebuds with a series of delicious dishes prepared a la minute. Enjoy a unique gastronomic blend with his interpretation of French and Malay cuisine and their fine aromatic ingredients, such as coconut milk, fragrant jasmine rice, lemon-grass, curry, chili, fresh ginger and noble herbs and spices. Andy combines these exotic flavours with products traditional of la Gomera, such as palm honey and goat. El Baifo also has a wide range of vegetarian dishes. All Andy's food is fresh and prepared upon ordering, including his exceptionally tasty sauces. El Baifo first opened in 1996, and in 2007 was awarded the Diario de Avisos Gastronomy award for the best foreign food in the Canary Islands. We hope to receive you soon and wish you a "buen apetito!"
