The decor is beautiful and unique. It is a train coach converted into a dining room. Lovely fire in the fireplace added to the ambience. Service was great and management friendly. Food is good, but I feel the portion sizes does not justify the prices. Definitely overpriced for what you get.

If you're looking for a different location to eat out for the night, while also filling your belly to the brim, this place wont dissappoint. We were able to eat dinner in one of the train cubicles which was a lot of fun, and the occasional train toot-toot always sent me jumping to the delight of my partner. Their potjie... More

This is an eclectic gem of a restaurant part of which makes up the old SAR coach. Comes complete with old knick-knacks from another era which includes the music. The food is old fashioned wholesome South African fare. The potjies are a winner, especially the curry. Limited choices for vegans and vegetarians, as are all restaurants in this part of... More

The potjie is a must and with the quiet ambiance makes for a terrific home cooked meal. There are many other dishes to choose from but the potjie is the way to go. A must try.

Excellent experience of a meal on a stationary locomotive. This restaurant offers excellent meals including nicely prepared pizza. One can also experience golf play while dinning

This is my second time visiting, and have not been disappointed. The same friendly and helpful staff attended to me very carefully and the best value for money in the area. Food is outstanding and really gives the perfect feel of pub lunch. If you enjoy dining local with a different feel this is definitely the place for you.
