This place has one hell of menu. Breakfast, pub lunches, dinner, saganaki, trout, ribs. They have it all. The food was good, but you didn't always get exactly what you ordered. I ordered a breakfast dagwood and basically got a burger with egg on it. Not exactly what I wanted but was still quite tasty. Great place to quickly grab... More

this establishment has it mini complex that sells books, clothing, accommodation. The restaurant is a must go since the departure of Lonecreek Spur in town. It has got a nice view of the Sabie mountains and Sabie streams down the Hazyview road

I always go to the woodsman on my Sunday Morning breakfast run with the motorbike. The staff is friendly and the food is good.

We ordered the trout trio for a shared appetizer- it was quite sparse in portion size. My wife had the lamb schwarma and I had the Stifadho (beef stew with rice - spicy). Both were very good. But service was slow. Btw we had two draft beers to accompany the food.

Only one bar man serving tables and the bar on a Tuesday night although not a busy night does not ensure that attentive service can be achieved.

Hi Alan Thank you for your feed back. I will adjust my staff complement. My one waiters wife had given birth to a baby boy and he had left his position. Do not shy away when next in the area. You will be pleased with our service. Kind Regards Christopher More

I ate twice at the Woodsman and, rather unadventurously had Kingklip both times. Both meals were very good and the restaurant is good value for money.

Restaurants in this area close early about 9pm, I think the pub closes a bit later. Perfectly positioned in the heart of Sabie it has a lovel bar in which to have a pre dinner drink. The menu is good, lots of options and all the food we had was really nice and good portion sizes. Can highly recommend.
