Erdoba is one of the renovated old "Konaks" in Mardin. the view from the terrace is great. We stopped for lunch. The food was good, though rather expensive. No alcoholic drinks. The desert we ordered "Mayhirma" (made of figs and grape juice) was one of the best I tasted!

This hotel was one of the first and considered best for many years. It certainly has one of the best locations and does have fantastic views. I did not stay here, but had drinks on the terrace and dinner one night in the restaurant. Which was very good, if pricey. Service was great.

There are only 2 rooms with the view. But the rooms are comfy. Be sure to stay in the lower rooms as... More

i didn't taste the food but as i checked the menu, prices were high. The restaurant has an excellent view. i preferred to drink some Turkish coffee with waterpipe towards the magnificent Mesopotamia scene.

Dear all travellers, As you could read on an other review, we decided with turkish friends to leave the first hotel and to go to Erdoba hotel in the old city center of Mardin on the main street. Such a heaven after our terrible experience in the previous hotel. We arrived in Erdoba hotel in the morning of our last... More

This is a wine growing region with excellent wines made by the Syriac families but few restaurants are licensed. It is a pity that this one should not serve wine. That would add to the experience : the setting is wonderful in this restored Syriac house and the fare is delicious.

Martin is famous for it's open mentality and wines. This restaurant does not respect either. How can they expect to cater to an international clientele without alcohol?
