Visited with a party of 11, bar staff friendly and efficient, reserved table worked good. The pub didn't appear overly busy but food took a while to come out. Most of the food was good, burgers were tasty and not overcooked, some chicken was abit rubbery but edible, chips were good, desserts took a while to come out but they... More

FOUND! Visiting from South Africa we googled all the pubs in the village to find worthwhile pie, gravy, mash and peas- the English way. We were sooooo impressed. It was worth the walk (up a devastating long and steep hill), the treacle pudding was also fantastic!!!! What a wonderful and memorable last evening in England. Thank you

Came here on recommendation and I was surprised at how nice it was. Lovely decor and family feel to the place. Lots of parking. Sit down and order your food at the bar. Food took its time to come but that just tells me it's not heated up so I wasn't bothered about the wait. Enjoyed our meals and the... More

Myself and a friend came for a meal, we ordered a sharing starter of nachos. They came like bendy plastic, when I addressed the situation with a member of staff I was very rudely interrupted and spoken too with disrespect. I hate to complain & being made too feel uncomfortable by doing so is not what I expected! Although a... More

Just had 2 fabulous meals at the Wrose Bull. We were served by Aaron & Emma and they looked after us well. All the meals were delicious and hot and excellent value. We had a 3 course meal + a free bottle of Prosecco (for booking before early) for £10. Well done everyone at the Wrose Bull for your hospitality.

First visit to this `Sizzler' pub- great atmosphere, nice setting with very good value food. Gammon steak wrong choice for my elderly mother- difficult to cut into even with a sharp meat knife- tasty when you got there, but needed sturdy teeth! My mince beef ale pie was perfection and two nice Latte coffees to follow. Will return - no... More

Stopped for lunch will drive passed next time mash was so stodgy it soked all the gravy up and the pastry pie (not meat) was like a building brick and it was all cold and that's after a half hour wait
