Have passed this bar several times when walking along the Moraira to Calpe coast but it always look too busy and expensive to stop at. Midweek in February we stopped for hot chocolate, coffee, mint tea and a snack. A beautiful view, excellent service and very reasonable prices. We’ll be back for a full meal next trip.

I spent a great day in Mandala having amazing fresh, high quality and delicious food with some friends. Stuff are great, polite, attention to detail and familiar. Oscar was specially professional helping us to pick up the dishes among different choices and we really enjoy the time there.
Everything is so natural in Mandala. Even the salt in the table is pink salt from the Himalaya.
Next to the sea, awesome views at sunset time. There is a little backgroud for kids in the sand. Highly recommended for any occasion.

This small breach restaurant is right next to the small beach of La Fustera. The menu is typical of a Spanish tapas lunch. Accessing the menu is a bit of a faff via the QR code, but we got there eventually with the help of the waiting staff. Food came quickly and was spot on. Prices are relatively high, but it’s worth it for the pleasant view and eating lunch outside in March is obviously a win.

Mandala is an excellent bar/ restaurant with very good staff and a menu full of freshly cooked dishes. We have visited three times in the last three weeks and will go back again before we leave the area. The location of Mandala is really pleasant and if you are staying in Calpe it is a very pleasant 30-45 minute walk along the coastal path, this helps to build an appetite and then burn of the calories on the way home.

I tried here for a coffee and ice cream late morning and found the service to be awful- customers were queuing up to pay. However we had a table booked for lunch and had the opposite experience. Different, friendly, VERY attentive staff and food arrived quickly and was tasty- Lovely salmon salad!

We spent 2,5 weeks in the neighborhood and had dinner here almost every 2nd night. The restaurant is located right at the beach which gives great views all day. The staff is super friendly, hard working And do all they can to make the stay enjoyable.
The food is superb and very reasonably priced. We ordered the Paella de marisco 3 times and eve our lain (12) enjoyed is much. Bus also the different tapas are all worth trying. A must eat: the brownie with ice cream as a desert.
All is all: must visit place when in the neighborhood!

This small cocktail/wine bar is clean and well presented with great views if you can get a perimeter table. Service is a little slow but their cocktails were very pleasant and not too extortionate....
We went at night and it was nicely lit. Whenever we went to the beach the bar seemed to well populated.

Overlooking and on a beautiful beach, with a relaxed Ibiza flair, friendly staff and very good food. We shared a Gluten Free pizza, which was freshly prepared and a fresh tomato salad... delicious. My only gripe was we wished we had stayed longer!!

Whoever prepared the pancake and banana, and the morning bowl, should be forced to eat it ! What a rip off. Small, dry, overcooked pancake with 5 thin slices of banana - no cream or ice cream. Morning bowl had dry dust of granola caked to the bottom of the bowl, a huge amount of yoghurt and small gesture of fruit on top. Too dry to eat and everything so overpriced. We are definitely not returning. A morning bowl used to be huge selection of fruit, walnuts and so delicious it was worth coming back for, but now I do not recommend anyone eat here.

Every time I come here with great expectations and are so disappointed. Tonight I ordered salmon poke bowl and got salmon with potatoes and veg, it was overcooked and old. Dessert used to be their thing but now it is equally old and stale. And they run out of Russian salad, no one cares.

Well, the reception is very unfriendly, you stand around at the entrance as if you ordered something and it wasn't picked up, even though there are free tables you have to wait until one of the staff comes and you are seated. We wanted to sit outside... in the end it worked out. The service is very slow, there is no menu, you are referred to a QR code, we didn't have a smartphone with us. After about 15 minutes of waiting, we were brought a tablet with the menu. It took another 20 minutes until the order was finally taken. Luckily the food came quicker. Two dishes were lukewarm and had to be sent back to the kitchen, the bread we ordered extra only came at the end when we were almost finished. The restaurant only scored points for its location right by the sea, the rest is forgettable. We had lasagne, spaghetti, fish and a hamburger.
The food was OK, but nothing more. A NO GO because of the bad reception and the long waiting times. No recommendation. the 1 star is deserved.

Twenty two years ago this beach bar was small but one of the friendliest places to be with lovely staff. Since it became Mandelas it has gradually got bigger and bigger and less friendly. Since two of its best staff, Oscar and Marta have left standards have dropped considerably. Current staff are inattentive and quite rude, that is if they even bother to take your order. We’ve been twice this year and both times have left after waiting over 15 minutes without having been served. Such a shame as we’ve been good customers for a long time.

Always chic with a stylish ambience and a great view, whether it's a café con leche and a snack or the food on the menu, it's always a pleasure here.

I've lived in Calpe for four years. I haven’t been going to Mandala Beach Bar for two years, as the service was and is known to be unfriendly and the prices are way too high and the quality of the food is also not good. Tourist Nepp I would call it.
Guests of ours confirm this to me again and again. And they all agree that we're not going there anymore. Only location is great. Right on Fustera beach.
I went for a walk with my dog today and wanted to have a drink, so despite my bad experiences there I went to the Mandalabar.
I sat down at a vacant table with only one chair at it anyway. There were 5 more free tables with 4 chairs each.
When the waitress came, I ordered a coke with rum from her in Spanish and told her I didn't want to eat. She then asked me if I was alone. I said yes to this. She told me she needed the table for other people at least 3-4 who wanted to eat there and she wanted me to leave the table and have a drink at another place.
That was definitely the last time I went to Mandala Beach Bar. I will also advise everyone not to go there.

This little bar local to us on Fustera beach is a wonderful bar restaurant consistently good food warm welcome but on 7th May staff got orders half forgotten looking around not knowing what to do food when it arrived was four stars service two star. However getting the bill Five + stars tip no stars!!😱
