It was a fantastic find after a long day hiking around Jimena. The food was soooo good and the setting was lovely, service was great Such a pity it closed :(

As Maureen M has already made clear, Mingo has closed permanently, and the food, the service and the stunning view from the dining room of the Andalucian countryside will be missed by all of us who were fortunate enough to come there for meals.

I let you know that unfortunately this restaurant had closed but you have still left it on your web site! It was a wonderful restaurant, a real loss to Jimena.

Mingo is very friendly, excellent service and food. I am vegan, and the chef will do a variation on the vegetarian meals for me. Always a good night.

Originally known as Bar Oba, the new owners have now renamed it Mingo Bar Restaurant, and it is without doubt an absolute gem worth hunting out, although it really is quite easily found at Calle Sevilla 18, just a minute or so stroll from the...More

Diverse menu on chalkboard. Staff welcoming. My wife wanted to go back, but we ran out of time on our holiday.

We popped in to this bar for lunch with friends and happened upon an absolute treasure. The owner dropped off waters and took our order apologized profusely that the (homemade!) tagliatelle was a bit thick, but it ended up being the best pasta I've ever...More

A friendly Bar/Bistro in this very Spanish town with cosy log fire in winter and open terrace in summer. Truly international menu with daily specials and a set menu option for Sunday lunch. All menu items are made in-house from fresh ingredients. Enjoy a full meal or just a cold beer at the bar.
