Tucked away a very short climb in the corner of the main road, this was worth the visit. We visited in the middle of a very quiet week and had the place to ourselves for a while. Somehow we ended up eating loads of food, from the Chorizo in Cider Sauce to the Kid (Goat, not child) with Potatos. All... More

What a great meal (dinner)! This is one of the very few places we have found in Spain where you can get vegetable dishes that are creative and cooked with care. The fish dish was also delectable. The owner / chef / server is a friendly powerhouse who seemingly does it all. La Panera is the best spot in this... More

We are serious foodies, and came here for exercise. After walking around town looking in windows and checking the places out, we walked past this place, critiquing the menu only. The restaurant is up the stairs. Well after seeing all the standard Spanish .. ......fair we were a bit pissed off. ....our intuition kicked in and we went back to... More

We were wandering around town looking for a place to eat and most of the restaurants were crowded and hot so we walked in and walked out. Then we found this restaurant at the top of the hill and walked in looking for a glass of wine and some tapas. What a pleasant surprise. The owner was friendly and she... More

We visited La Panera in lunch time. The terrasse has a nice view. We had menu del dia to € 14. The choise of courses was few. The fabada was good. The segundos was poor and not worth the price. Service was ok, but not very friendly.

My husband and I were looking for a healthy dinner with veggies and maybe some fish. Here, we ordered the Grilled Vegetables, which were delicious- simple, perfectly grilled with a little olive oil, salt and pepper . Then an order of trout, enough for two of us,also simply pan fried and delicious. Loved the ambiance of the restaurant, the menu... More

We stopped here on our way to Carreña de Cabrales and the place and the food are first class! The fabada is simply dreamy, nearly brought tears to my eyes since it was only rivaled by the one my Mom used to make me when I was a kid. Excellent goat, hearty portions, good desserts and the wines are fairly... More

Luckily we found this place on our first night in Arenas de Cabrales and went there for the next four nights too! It's a lovely place to eat both inside and on the outdoor terrace. Of the many superb dishes we ate stand-outs were the veal sirloin in 'peeper'(!) sauce, salmon in cream sauce and the fabada. The service was... More

Our guides recommended this restaurant ant they were some of the best I have ever had. All I asked for was traditional Northern Spain food that was truly traditional. I was absolutely blown away with the food and the service. This family restaurant has been in the family for generations and they have kept the tradition of true Spain food... More

The food was really good, very friendly service. We recommend cheese cake which is really unforgettable, Great choose of the local food and the full information about the content and the type of preparation. The only minus is that it is rather expensive place.
