As one exits Herculaneum towards the Ercolano train station there are many Italian cafes and restaurants. We happen to choose this one for its outside dining, moderate/inexpensive Lunch menu that was vegetarian friendly. We tried our first authentic Naples / Napolitan pizza.... but was it...More
According to the menu, bill should have been €19, but owner said €21! I disputed the maths and offered €50 note and he shrugged and gave back €30....other reviews elsewhere have documented this dodgy practice. Pizzas were also so so, at least the beer was...More
After a visit to Herculaneum we took a break going back uphill to the railway station and grabbed a table on the pavement at this café. It was on a bit of a slope however the waiter quickly sorted the table wobble and got us...More
We finished a tour of the ruins just around 1pm so we were looking for a quick bite to eat without getting ripped off. This place looked not too touristy but also decent enough so we gave it a try. The service was quick, the...More

My husband and I had lunch there on the way to Herculaenum. He had a 4 cheeses pizza and I had a veggies pizza. They were good and reasonably priced. Including water, we paid 18 euros for lunch.
I was staying at the Hotel Herculaneum around corner, so this place was really convenient. Good food, quick and easy, simple, no frills. No need to venture to the more pricy restaurants up the hill (near the station).
Get an Pizza to go for 5 euro. Was ok But Not too good. Funghi from a can and ham didnt taste so well. There are far better Options nearby
