Good atmosphere and food

Came here for lunch on Thursday afternoon after a morning of snowboarding. It was very busy, but my friends and I found a table upstairs. There was no English menu, so we had to figure it out ourselves, but managed ok. Me and my partner ordered the goulash. Our friends food arrived, but we were still waiting. My partner asked about our food and was advised that the goulash was at thd side bar and we were to 'help ourselves'. I feel like we should have been advised this when we ordered, as our friends had all finished their meals by the time we got ours. The food was really nice though, and filling though. We heard there was a band on later on, so we decided to go back later on. We got a table easy enough, near the stage, and ordered drinks without waiting. The band (Offshore) were a really fun aprés band to watch and thete was a really good vibe in the bar. The bar is still open after the slopes close, however there is a funicular station right next to it that you can catch back down. Overall, it's a fun little bar and nice place to stop for lunch on the mountain

We strive to inform all guests about the self-service on the Gulash, but apparently we do not manage to do it all times, but this is a good feedback for us to improve the routines and communication! Spent 6 afternoons in a row at this lovely place. Great atmosphere with a kind and friendly staff. Food and beer is great and live music is played every day - a great way to have fun and relax after a long, cold day skiing.

Great Christmas Eve Meal

We came here for a traditional Christmas Eve meal when on holiday in the area. The staff were all very friendly and welcoming and it was a great to experience the Christmas table. It was clear this was a family run business and as visitors to Sweden we were made to feel incredibly welcome. Although we did not go in on a normal day it is in a great position on the ski slopes and near to one of the funicular stops. There was a wide choice of drinks.

SHIP AFTER SKI HERE!

After-ski 15-18. Booked table. It is important that you arrive before 3:30 p.m., otherwise the table will be released. Chose to skip the last hour on the slope for a lovely Afterski. Get there 15:00. Cloakroom fee SEK 50, but absolutely did not want to take care of the helmet, and preferably not the gloves. Wardrobe? The band went on at 16:35 and went off at 17:40 when the move started to get going. Does not give a rating for the Coverband as this is changed as often as you wash the underwear 🙀. Only cold water where the men do nr1. I don't understand how to compare with Afterski Austria, but this was too bad.

Hej! Tack för att du tog Dig tid att recensera vårt ställe. Vi tycker så klart att det är trist att du inte var nöjd ned din upplevelse. Vi är ett lunch och afterski-ställe som brinner för musik och ett familjärt och varmt bemötande. Vi har ett husband här som allt som oftast gästas av Sveriges artist och musikelit. De spelar hela säsongen så att byta underställ när vi byter band rekommenderas inte. Klockan 15 så skiftar vi från lunch till afterski och då byter vi till mer partyanpassad musik. Vi har en entré och garderobsavgift som är 50 kr på vardagar och 70 kr fredag och lördag. Bokar man bord för att få garanterad sittplats så är avgiften 120 kr. Här har du nog blivit feldebiterad och det ber vi om ursäkt för. Vill man inte reservera bord och vill utnyttja hela dagen i backen så går det bra att komma på drop-in. Bandet börjar spela 5-15 minuter efter liftarnas stängning. Det finns varmt och kallt vatten på samtliga toaletter och urinoarer, tvål och fräscha torkmöjligheter. Hoppas att vi får nöjet att hälsa Dig välkommen tillbaka och att Din upplevelse blir bättre nästa gång.

Best place for a beer and a meal

Over the top Atmosphere!

Ended up spending 6 afternoons in a row because of the great vibe. Greay live music everyday, good food and lovely staff which all makes up for a great afterski experience. So if you find yourself in Åre this place is defenitely worth a visit(or several)!

Great hospitality

If you plan to go to Äre, this is def the place to be! I spent my entire holiday at this place; went there for afterski (some live band), lunch, and diner. We had lots of fun and the owner was really kind and welcoming, thus we went back many times!

Best Après-Ski bar on the slopes in Are

Coming with our Après-ski habits from Austria and Switzerland, we were looking for a similar atmosphere in Are, a place we could call home and have fun after hours spent on our ski in the Swedish COLD weather. We tried them all.... and there is no doubt about the fact that AreHyddan was the best of all. We stopped going to the other places and we were welcomed like special VIP guests all the time. The staff remembered us, was super nice and the overall atmosphere was really something! We danced the whole après ski (but not on the tables, it's forbidden ;-)) and we were super happy with the large selection of drinks and food which was offered to us! Special big up to the manager of the place who takes care of his guests and his staff, they all seemed very happy and as we all know, happy staff will make happy guests!

The Place for Afterski in Are! Not to miss!

Fantastic - the real thing - great location (accessible by foot or on skis) gorgeous view with the sunset, friendly and professional service, good prices, fab houseband - when we were there there was a surprise duo on stage as well, famous Swedish singers - in their skiwear, how cool and relax isn't that? Everybody singing along - only good ol' hits, mostly English, dance (some on tables) and also great finger food. Barmen are two French guys, fun and cool, waitresses quick friendly - all in all has the international service level one so often doesn't deliver in Sweden. Upstairs they've built a huge bar, sitting areas, you can have groups, teams, business groups here for private events - we just LOVED the place! From upstairs you're like on first row looking down at the stage, through the window wall - to the sunset. Can't imagine how beautiful this will be even in summer when you can sit and eat outside.

Of they serve the local fish-try it. They also have one of the best bergers in the Village. Nice and friendly staff.
