Lovely place for some regional food or a good size pizza. Love some of the unusual topping, for the Brit, especially artichokes. It's on the main road but you can see the chateaux from the terrace.

We’d stopped off at Cormatin to visit the Galerie Artisanale there (see review). It was closed for lunch and we had an hour to lose so we decided to have a light lunch ourselves. Les Blés d’Or is on the main road 5 minutes away,...More
We can not recommend this place, as you can see this is not home made pizza. In Paris you would be able to get a better home made 1st class pizza for the same price. The price does not reflect the quality at all. As...More

Escargots are a specialty and so should be. We both started there, and to my surprise my wife ordered maigret, ducks breast. I was surprised because she doesn't like pink steak, but she ate it all, with pleasure. I had my usual steak Charolais, (we're...More
Had lunch there and the salads are excellent - to be recommended. We had the Bourgogne version and the Bles d'Or's own version. Just the job with a demi-carafe of Macon blanc. Two very personable ladies were serving.
We stopped there for lunch after the Cormatin castle visit. The place was packed as expected during a long French week end. We had to wait quite a long time to place our orders and even get something to drink. Meanwhile waitresses were bickering, shouting...More

A waitress with a serious attitude. Food quality below average while prices are above average. Not a restaurant I would recommend. The fact that it is located right in front of a tourist attraction could explain how they can get away with this. Will not...More
We had dinner here with my family. We ordered nothing special. Pizza. I'm sorry to say it was very disappointing. Service was adequate and friendly. But the food wasn't tasteful. We didn't finish. We had different pizza's but none of us was happy with his/her...More
We had a great little lunch after our castle tour. We were just looking for a light lunch and this really fit the bill. We had a salad nicoise and a goat cheese salad. We also had a nice glass of wine.
We were about to visit Chateau Cormatin, it was 1:55pm and I had a Hungery husband. In France you learn you may not get fed if you are not at lunch with feet under a table by at least 1:30 pm, so I was pleased...More
