We were at Vaitape for 3 hours only so we gotta rush for lunch and shopping. Aloe Cafe was recommended by our taxi driver and it was a nice place to go for a simple lunch. We had mussels and seared tuna which were very nice.

After a long morning of pearl shopping and open air market shopping, this place hit the spot. Free wi fi and most importantly there is this delicious vodka ice cream that everyone must try!

Nice little bistro, close to the wharf, but set back from the road so quiet and peaceful. Portions were generous: my husband had the poisson cru and I had the shrimp and salmon salad. Both dishes were well-prepared and tasty, we both left feeling satisfied and happily so. They have Wi-Fi, which was helpful for us. It was recommended to... More

There is no AC, you sit outside. I had the fish burger and my husband had the club Sandwich, about 20$ each. They come with fries. The food was done well, but I would I would paid the extra 10 dollars and eat by the pool at the hotel. There is not much in atmosphere. It is located next to... More

Had a drink here. Seems to be where all the cruise passengers gather. Two cans of coke zero for USD7.20, probably better than most places. Conveniently located next to a souvenir shop where we bought a couple of postcards & stamps.

Has lots of reasonably priced cafe foods like coffee drinks, pastries, salads, desserts, etc. Probably the closest thing you will find to an american cafe on the island.

The waitresses are obviously not happy to be working there and they will make sure to get their boredom obvious. Food is under par. They don't really give a damn as: 1. This is the only place to get a coffee for the locals so they are stuck with this one. A little bit competition would be good 2. Tourists... More
