    We think it's gone

    A walk by the restaurant in May 2014 showed it completely shut down. Although it could conceivably be resurrected for the summer season, I really doubt it. Too bad; it was a nice place.

    Great people watching venue.

    Good location near the east end of the malecon. Lovely garden setting as well as a raised area overlooking the malecon. Service was good as was the food and the cold cervezas.

    Down the Malecon in Progreso

    Referred to us by friends we were back again in the same week.service was excellent and helpful with the menu. My wife had the shrimp salad which was very tasty and good value for 85 pesos. We will be back!

    Description
    Excellent and very fresh seafood including fish, shrimp, octopus prepared in a number of ways and presented beautifully. Also available are steaks, pizza and chicken, though they are not on the menu. Located in a gorgeous property that used to be a home, facing the beach. MUCH nicer than any other restaurant I have visited in Progreso. Full bar. Swimming pool and even a couple of hammocks! An excellent spot, serves breakfast, lunch and dinner Wednesday thru Monday.
