This is our second visit to Prashad, and the food was excellent as usual. There's always something new to try, and is a refreshing change from the usual options on the menu at other Indian restaurants.

I've always avoided visiting as I'm not a fan of vegetarian food. I have to say that everything was super tasty. Had some lovely cocktails too (they also offer alcohol free choices). The waiters mainly appeared to be young but were all very polite. Wouldn't...More

I loved that this restaurant stayed to true to region. It didn't serve korma, Tikka massala or any other usual Bangladeshi curry that were used to here in the UK. We had the Chole and the Dosa which were both expertly flavoured/spiced and delicious. The...More

Ooh! That's a good question. It's in quite an unusual location so may be tricky via public transport.
Just a question about the mid week set menu is it Dish each or is it shared? Also I don't like peas would you not put a dish in the thali for me without this please and I would want thar I prefer khadi would this be an option too.

If you tell them you wouldn't like any dish with peas they would make the thali that way. You can request the kind of dish that you would like to have. They usually keep guests request.

Prashad is an award winning Indian vegetarian restaurant in the heart of West Yorkshire. It is based in a renovated pub building in Drighlington, which has been transformed into an intimate and vibrant Gujarati eaterie. It features a large bar area where the in-house mixologist serves up perfectly-matched cocktails, locally-brewed beers and wines with roadside snacks and Indian tapas. There are three different dining areas and a snug that can be individually booked for private parties. The open pass kitchen brings the passionate Head Chef and her team closer to the customers.

In the last 12 months alone we have been awarded the Morrisons Magazine Great Grub Award 2013, the Yorkshire Life Chef of the Year 2013 (which Minal and Kaushy won jointly), the Michelin Guide Bib Gourmand 2014, and the Yorkshire Evening Post Oliver Awards Best Indian Restaurant 2014!
