The food, on the whole, was very nice. It was also expensive. £55 for two adults and two kids, no booze. Only one person on front of house for most of the time we were there and he was a bit rushed off his feet,...More

It's a five hour drive and an overnight stay for us to eat here - but worth the trip! The tasting menu continues to delight! It was really busy but food just kept arriving, beautifully presented, fresh, tasty and overall delightful! Can't praise this place...More

Prashad is my all time favourite restaurant, so my expectation was sky high. The tasting menu was very good but sadly not truly wonderful as it has been previously. Still it was the best meal I have eaten this year.

I used to love Prashad, especially in the days before the Gordon Ramsay hype. It has now changed chefs and the food was disappointing. My dosa was greasy (although the potato curry filling was actually delicious), the coconut chutney was perfect but the sambar was...More

We went to Prashad for the second time yesterday and it was excellent. Tasty and fresh food which is delivered with excellent service. Not that much more expensive than you're average curry house and much better quality. Highly recommend.

Ooh! That's a good question. It's in quite an unusual location so may be tricky via public transport.

If you tell them you wouldn't like any dish with peas they would make the thali that way. You can request the kind of dish that you would like to have. They usually keep guests request.

Description
Prashad is an award winning Indian vegetarian restaurant in the heart of West Yorkshire. It is based in a renovated pub building in Drighlington, which has been transformed into an intimate and vibrant Gujarati eaterie. It features a large bar area where the in-house mixologist serves up perfectly-matched cocktails, locally-brewed beers and wines with roadside snacks and Indian tapas. There are three different dining areas and a snug that can be individually booked for private parties. The open pass kitchen brings the passionate Head Chef and her team closer to the customers. In the last 12 months alone we have been awarded the Morrisons Magazine Great Grub Award 2013, the Yorkshire Life Chef of the Year 2013 (which Minal and Kaushy won jointly), the Michelin Guide Bib Gourmand 2014, and the Yorkshire Evening Post Oliver Awards Best Indian Restaurant 2014!
