We stopped here for lunch on our trip out of Sohra. It is located just outside Sohra. The only available options were thalis or combos. This is a vegetarian place. But the food was good. The restaurant has a spacious seating place.

The place is on the main state highway just before Sohra / Cherrapunjee while travelling from Shillong. Billing of items to be done at the entry itself. Gated dining hall, bill is checked and once table is vacant, you are let into the hall. Extreme...busy during lunch hours, yet super clean and organised. We ordered special thali each. Everything on the plate was super tasty. Highly recommend their rajmah, dahi alu and paneer. Unlimited refills of sabzi, roti and rice except paneer, rasgulla and papad. Grate place if you are starving for only veg restaurants in Cherrapunji. Ghee Dosa is excellent, you get veg thali as well.

This place serves best Dosa in entire Meghalya. Simple and very tasty food. Its a must visit, especially people coming from outside North East. They will get a good taste

We visited Organe Roots for lunch. They have coupon system wherein you have to buy coupons for your meals and then the food is served accordingly. It's vegetarian food only and that suited us as we are vegetarians. They have limited as well as unlimited...thali and south Indian food too. Food is served hot. The quality of food is excellent and it's quite yummy. They serve it nicely. The hospitality is quite good. Upkeep is excellent. Very neat and clean place with fresh air. Unlimited thali, delicious food in the middle of kms of road. Good variety within the thali and quick service considering the crowds waiting for the table.

They serve a hearty thali, but it’s possible to have a la carte as well. We just wanted something light, so we had some hot delicious dosas there. They also have a nice shop there, to buy local handicrafts and tea.

Nice Ambiance and Good food options. Everything tastes good when you are away from home and missing home food. Orange roots menu has south and north Indian food. Sohra is a tiny place. You will see orange roots on your way to all the touristy...places like caves, and falls in Sohra. Value for money.More

It's a boon to find pure vegetarian restaurant in meghalaya. 90% it is dominated with non vegetarian food, where we really find it difficult to eat... as the vegetarian and non vegetarian kitchen are same. So we were happy to atleast find a place which...was pure vegetarian. Food is fresh and hot. Dosa, uttapa, thali, gulab jamun, coffee, etc was all good.
